Land of Lightning

He dodged a diagonal slice from the kunai but was cut by the lightning coming off the blade. Obito grunted and held his side briefly before sending chakra to the soles of his feet, jumping in the air as he did. Performing hand seals quickly he blew out a enormous spiral of fire down at Kakashi.

Eyes wide open, Kakashi saw he couldn't dodge the attack. A hissing sound came from the spot Kakashi was, along with a dense cloud of smoke.

Obito squinted his eyes at the greyish cloud intensely. When it cleared finally all that was left was a piece of wood. This caused him to take in his surroundings quickly. His eyes looking left and right, he soon found a average sized rock laying on the ground suspiciously. Knowing it wasn't there before Obito rushed to it.

With a chakra enforced leg he slammed his leg down on the poor rock. The mirage dispersed but Kakashi never appeared. That's when he realized—

Air knocked from his lungs, blood sprawled out his mouth as Kakashi dealt his chidori in a vital spot of Obito's lower abdomen. He breathed heavily as he looked at his old teammate in the eyes. His eyes filled with emotion that didn't spill over.

"You're still clever", Obito said weakly but then Kakashi was left confused as his frown turned into a smirk. "But you also don't always think things through, which is just as annoying as you being clever."

Kakashi faced turned into shock as he pulled his arm out of the man. He then gave him a pensive look when he realized blood wasn't all around his arm and that the right side of Obito's lower stomach was regenerating.

....and that it was pasty white.

'So that's how he's alive. Should've known.'

"You'll have to be more lucky next time old friend.", Kakashi faced twisted into frustration but kept his cool. He didn't want to fight him in the first place. He had a guess on why Obito didn't come back and why he's probably like this.

Rin...

"Stop the macho man act Obito. We both know why you're doing this. It's 'cause of Rin isn't it?", the man in question didn't respond but he certainly didn't look pleased with the unwanted interview.

"Since you have the mangekyou you must've saw Rin get killed..by me. I'm guessing that was the deal breaker huh?", he said rhetorically.

Obito made a tsk sound as his sharigan started spinning into motion. The air shift into a vortex of some sort. The spiky silver-haired jonin ran towards his opponent once again. Both of their bodies disappearing from the damaged battleground.

Obito's dimension

Familiar with the dimension, two kunai's clashed in a hefty swing. Kakashi tried to knee the man in the stomach but his leg was blocked and swiped from Obito's hand.

Breaking from the other kunai, Kakashi pushed back and side stepped to the side of the Uchiha. Obito saw a chakra infused punch coming towards his face but couldn't react fast enough. Luckily it was the white side. But it still left him spitting out blood from his mouth.

He sniffled as his nose bled. Anger seemed to rise on his face and with that he started attacking, only this time more brutally.

His body did a 360° and he threw out his leg and aimed it at Kakashi. When Kakashi went to grab at his leg he swiftly jumped a few feet off the ground and started to spin briefly before kicking Kakashi in the side of his head.
