I dont own any of the characters. They all belong to Kishimoto.
Hinata was walking through the village as she saw constructors working around the village ruins. It's been about a week since the attack and the village was coming along nicely thanks to Yamato with his wood technique, making the construction faster.
Her ears suddenly picked up something and she turned in that direction. She gasped at what she saw. Her lip quivering. Her eyes were locked on the scene of a beaten Naruto with Sai protecting him from a punch to the face.
She quickly hid, her face plastered with worry and anger. For she knew that the person who defeated the leader of Akatsuki can surely handle themselves with a normal ninja. She wasn't mad at his attackers but he himself because she knew he let it happen willingly. Just to make sure her assumption was correct she continued to hide.
"Don't interfere. He asked for this." She heard one of the attackers say in a harsh tone. She had red spiky hair that was pushed back by a ninja headband that looked like a bandana. She was wearing a light green shirt that was shredded at the shoulders with the Kumo ninja vest over it, the lower part of her body was covered in a long shredded dark green skirt that stopped after her knees with black nina shoes that also stopped at her knees.
"Sai...Stay out of this." Naruto said, his breathing shaking a little bit. "Naruto...You don't have to get beaten up for Sasuke's sake." Sai replied, his tone of voice sounded almost determined. Naruto let out another shaky breath, "Shut up. It's my choice." he responded back.
Sai's face looked as though he was having a flashback. "If i were you..." before Sai could finish what he wanted to say he was interrupted. "If you get in the way, well beat you up too." The girl spoke her voice laced with anger, ready to use her fist again. She lunged her fist back to punch Sai but her fist was stopped. Her face plastered with shock. Her hand was stopped by another, the person being her teammate.
"Enough already, Karui." Spoke the boy that had white spiky hair with his black ninja headband wrapped around his forehead. He was wearing a long sleeved green jacket that had a Kumo vest over it. He had on black pants and black ninja shoes. A sheathed katana resting on his back like Karui.
"Beating them up won't get us anywhere. You should know that." Karui looked at her two prey with the same anger laced on her face. She pulled back her hand that was stuck in Sai's and harshly pulled her other that was stuck in her teammate's. She turned around ready to walk away but stopped when her teammate spoke again. "He promised to help us rescue Lord Killer Bee." She turned to look at him, her eyebrows furrowed."What?! Where's your usual skepticism about promises being honored? This isn't like you at all!" She said pointing a finger at him.
Naruto was on the verge of unconsciousness and he fastly was about to hit the ground until Hinata rushed to his side and leaned him on her. "Naruto-kun..." she said. Naruto looked at her, surprised to see her. "Hinata...".
The two foreigners were surprised to see her but they didn't think she was a threat and continued. "No matter what we do, he refuses to sell out his friend. He may be a foe, but I like guys like him. A man shouldn't be loose with words. However much you thrash him, he won't betray Sasuke. He's the type who means what he says." The boy of the duo finished. Just then a blur came on the scene and everyone looked at the person that just appeared.
The boy of the duo recognized her immediately. "Captain Samui." he called. Samui is a tall, fair-skinned woman with a curvaceous figure who generally wears a stoic, aloof expression on her face. She has blue eyes and straight, shoulder-length blonde hair cut in an asymmetrical bob style.
