"Kritika Beta.... All done?" Kalyani asked in loud voice since she was sitting in the hall with other ladies of their neighborhood.
Today is Karva Chauth. That's why Rathore Mansion was buzzing with guests and relatives. Most of the ladies were decked up in red sarees while men's chose to wear whatever they were comfortable with in traditionals.
"Yes Mom.... Now we just have to wait for the moon to rise." Kritika answered back checking out the items on the dining table. After finishing up the dining table she proceeded in kitchen's direction to check out the arrangements there.
"Shambhu kaka.... Sab ho gaya na?" She asked entering the kitchen.
( Shambhu kaka..... Everything done? )
"Haan Bitiya..... Bas ye thaal bahar rakhni thi, vahi karne ja rahe hain." She nodded at him with a smile before looking over other things.
( Yes child....... Just this plate was left to place outside, going to do that. )
"Everyone out....." Came a deep voice from her behind. She didn't needed to turn to know whom that voice belongs to. She gripped the kitchen slab in nervousness very well aware of the upcoming things.
"May I know why are you ignoring me from last two days?" He asked coldly wrapping his hands around her waist so she doesn't run off again like she's doing from past few days.
"It's nothing like that. I was just busy with the preparations." She shivered when he rubbed her cheeks with his.
"You are fasting sweetheart. You shouldn't lie." He pointed out pecking the junction of her neck.
"I-I am not. And.... why would I even.... lie." She stuttered badly causing him to chuckle out loudly.
"Maybe because of this." He caressed the slight red spot on her navel shamelessly feeling proud of his artwork. His touch did nothing but to bring those memories back alive.
The sight of him on his knees, sucking her, with those brown orbs staring deep into hers, was something that made heat crawl upto her neck. She felt hot reminiscing the day.
His other hand travelled to her left shoulder, trying to slid her blouse down but before he could do that, they heard a throat clearing sound which made Kritika push him back straightening herself. While Rehan blankly stared the woman before him who brought him to this world.
"Like Father, Like son..... So... desperate." The mocking in Kalyani's voice didn't went unnoticed by the couple.
"Even then you people don't leave her for me to have." Both the females were left dumbfounded at his straightforward reply. And the best part was that..... he didn't had even the slightest regret of what he said.
Kalyani failed to hide the amusement displayed on her face at his beloved and whipped son's words. Whereas Kritika facepalmed herself due to unfolding craziness of her husband. The way he sometimes disables the filtering function is just image threatening for them.
"We will.... We will leave her all for you. But only after the ceremony ends. So till then.... please maintain some distance." Rehan scowled when his mother threw him out of the kitchen pinching his kurta between her fingers as if she's throwing a chips packet away.
An hour or something passed waiting for the moon who chose not to show himself on such a special occasion. Ladies were indulged in their gossips while men went for business talks.
