"Be honest Kritika, isn't it hard to deal with that stone face of a husband of yours?" One of Kritika's colleague asked as soon as they stepped out of their workplace after finishing their duties.
"You mean handsome?" Reverted Kritika.
"I agree. Kya maal-......" Kritika's friend Neha, started only to be flinched by the glare that Kritika threw at her.
( I agree. He looks se- )
"Kamaal....... I mean Kamaal dikhte hain Jijaji." She rolled her eyes at Neha's words hiding the blush that formed on her face due to the mention of her husband.
( Hot...... I mean brother in law looks hot. )
"But what's the use of that looks when you have a black soul and everyone around you hates you behind your back." Kritika knew what her colleague was trying to imply.
The news of Rathore Industries losing it's shareholders was quite a hot topic among the news channels. And what made it more interesting was the accusation of her husband being the reason. Rehan was the talk of the town till the afternoon until he released a statement in press confrence proving those rumours wrong. Although everything was settled but the publicity was already done. And the after effects were un avoidable.
"No one is perfect guys. Everyone have flaws. So do my husband and I. But we accept each other the way we are. Besides that, you can't expect him to be an obedient and smiling puppy when he have such a huge organization to run. He had to be a little strict. And about his soul........ I know how black that is. And trust me babe...... Black....... Is sexy." She winked ending her statement which made few of them to chortle.
Her colleague was about to open her mouth to keep her next point when they heard Neha exclaiming loudly.
"And delicious too......." They turned their heads in the direction she was looking and came across the sight of Rehan moving in their direction straightening his black three piece suit after getting down the Thar. Which Kritika remembered she drove in the morning till her workplace.
"Hi Jiju......." Neha chirped excitedly when Rehan got close to their group. Following her trail, others greeted him too.
Rehan on the other side felt a little awkward to communicate with those ladies as it wasn't his expertise. But he also didn't wanted Kritika's friends to point her out for his behaviour so he ended up giving them his as usual curt nod. Neha chuckled inwardly when she saw nervousness on few of her colleague's faces who were judging him earlier.
"Shall we leave?" Rehan asked impatiently. After a hectic day at work, all he wanted was to have his Sweetheart in his arms, all for himself.
"Bye guys......." Kritika buckled up, all ready to leave.
"What bye Mrs........ Your ID Card." She scanned herself on hearing Neha's words and found her ID missing.
"I think I forgot inside. I'll be back." She asserted gaining an acknowledging nod from Rehan before running inside her workplace.
It took her around 10 minutes to return back with her ID. But when she came back, the scene before her was quite amusing for her.
A little girl in Neha's arms, whom she recognised as the daughter of her manager, was presenting a red rose to her husband who looked taken aback by the mere 5 year old.
She approached them slowly and stood aside for the drama to unfold.
"You aal handshum...... You maaly me?"
