While the men worked, I decided to take Gia's advice and try not to worry. Gia and I sat outside watching Leah and Nalani play, while we played with Riley and Olivia's hair. Gia held Olivia and was braiding her hair, while I had Riley running a soft brush through hers. It was nice. The sun was out, there was so much greenery surrounding us. I watched as Nalani attempted to teach Leah how to do a cartwheel. It was a nice change, I could no longer smell the salty sea breeze, instead, the smell of pine invaded my nose. "So, you met Enzo, what did you think?" Gia broke the silence first.

"Oh, I don't know. He didn't seem to like me very much."

"What makes you think that?"

"He was angry about Antonio." I continued brushing Riley's hair.

"I should warn you, Enzo is a nice guy but he is a narcissist, and he enjoys playing games." Her eyes held a dark warning.

"What do you mean?"

"I must confess, I was awake when he arrived, I was listening to your conversation. He was interested in you before he knew who you were, but now he knows you are Luca's wife, it will be but a game to him." She explained with an apologetic look on her face.

"I don't understand." I leaned in forward wondering if maybe I missed something.

"He was trying to charm you, Lana. Luca's reaction has just turned chasing you into a game for him. He likes a challenge." She repeated the same words Luca said.

"Why does he not like Luca?"

"It is not that he does not like Luca, it is just a game to Enzo. He thinks very highly of himself, he believes he can have whatever he wants, and when Luca interrupted the two of you, it was Luca's way of telling him no. Enzo does not take well to someone telling him no."

"So, I'm in danger now?" Great just what I needed, more to worry about.

"No, Enzo is not a danger to anyone but himself. Like I said, this is all a game to him. I just wanted to warn you. Luca seems territorial of you, and it may cause trouble with Enzo." A high pitched scream pierced my ears. Gia and I both jumped to out feet, and scanned the area for the girls. Leah and Nalani were gone. "Leah?" Panic started to set in. "Leah!" I screamed. Gia quickly handed me Olivia, and ran off to try and find them. I almost followed her, but realized I couldn't take the twins. "Tyler!" I screamed for help. Tyler ran from the mansion with his gun in his hand. "What's wrong?"

"Leah and Nalani are missing, and we heard a scream!" I looked down at the twins, and debated on leaving them with Tyler so I could find Leah. What if Alexa is here? I can't leave the twins. Tyler bolted in the direction Gia ran to. I stood there unsure what to do. For the first time, I would have to trust someone else to protect Leah. The twins were too young, and there are two of them. They needed me as much as Leah did. If I left them to go look for Leah, I could put them in danger too. I started to pace back and forth panicking. I wanted to go after Leah. Finally after pacing back and forth, I decided to get the twins in the house. I was in tears, and felt like a terrible mother for leaving Leah behind. "Lana!" Luca, and Niko rushed towards me. "I-I can't leave them. You have to go, find Leah." I struggled to speak now hysterical. Luca quickly took off running out of the house. Now on alert the house was buzzing with movement, a mixture of both Luca and Niko's men scrambled in and out of the house in search for the girls. I took a seat on the sofa in the main livingroom, crying and holding the girls, when Kate and Enzo made their way in.

"Lana, what's going on?" Kate hurried to my side.

"Leah was screaming, I don't know where she is, and I couldn't help her, I couldn't leave the twins." I sobbed hysterically. I felt guilty, and helpless. I wanted to run to Leah, but I couldn't risk leaving the twins. "I'll go help." Enzo offered with a sympathetic look, and I was grateful for it. He quickly ran out the door following the others. Maybe what Gia said was true, Enzo is no

"Lana, listen to me. You did the right thing. The twins need you." Kate tried comforting me.

"Leah needs me too."  Her little scream was stuck in my head. What if she's waiting for me? Hoping for me?

"As a mother we're forced to make hard decisions sometimes. But that's why you have Luca, he is always going to have your back and help you. Staying here and letting him go after her was the best decision, I promise." Kate was right, Luca is her father, he loves her as much as I do, and I know he'll protect her. I needed to learn to trust him.
