We were sitting in class while professor McGonagall was sitting on her desk in cat form. I was looking down at my book, trying to ignore everyone around me when the sound of pounding footsteps invaded the room. Turning around, Ron and Harry were running like their arses were on fire.

"Looks like the professor's not here yet. lucky for us," Ron said and Hermione went to say something when professor McGonagall jumped off the desk and transformed into her human self. I snickered and turned back to my book. After she had talked to them Harry came and sat on my right. Hermione was on my left and Ron sat next to Harry. Harry turned to smile at me and I smiled back shaking my head at them.

Potions.....It was an ok class as I liked Professor Snape, he was like an uncle to me.

"I am professor Snape..." Snape started to say as he went over the rules. And my mind drifted off to all the times I came running in here just to talk to him.

I walked into Professor Snape's room and sat down on the floor. He looked up as he stared at me weirdly.

"What are you doing here Miss Dumbledore?" Snape asked as he set down his quill. I was 5 and made it my personal job to come and visit Snape everyday, though he asked why I was there every time.

"I've come to see you." I said standing up and walking over to his desk setting my chin down on his desk looking at him. "Can you come play catch or something?" I asked.

"Why don't you ask the other children to play with you?" Snape asked in a bored tone turning to his papers.

"Ravenclaws are studying, Gryffindors are...well being Gryffindors, Hufflepuff don't want to." I said looking at him.

"Have you asked the Slytherins yet?" He asked though the thought of them playing with me gave him amusement as they didn't like anyone, not even other Slytherins.

"They're mean," I said. "But I told them off." I said which seemed to get his attention.

"Did you now?" He asked.

I nodded. "They said I wasn't as bad as I seemed and that later they want me to sit next to them at their table. And my friends that are in Slytherin are in quidditch practice." I said as I walked away from his desk to sit in one of the students' desks.

"Then why don't you ask one of the other Professors?" He asked, turning back to his work.

"You're my favorite," I stated, making him look at me again. "I think I should call you uncle Snape."

"We look nothing alike." Snape stated.

"Well.....we both have pale skin." I said holding out my arm showing my pale skin.

"That's because you're always down in the dungeons," Snape drawled.

"You are too," I said to him. "Uncle Snape, it is." I grinned from ear to ear, looking at him. Shaking his head he went back to his paperwork.

"...10 points from Gryffindor." Snape snapped as he looked at Harry. I looked down to see he was taking notes. I raised my hand.

"Yes Miss. Dumbledore?" Snape asked

"He was taking notes....Is it against the rules to take notes?" I asked nicely. Snape looked down at Harry's paper.

"10 points to Gryffindor," Snape said though it was with distaste. I smiled at him and nodded.

The class ended and we walked down the halls. We had lunch before we had to go to our next class, we are going to learn how to fly a broom, Madam Hooch would be teaching it this year. I had already learned how to ride, I had taken the lesson every year since I could walk.

I headed to the grand hall as I walked to my table sitting down between Fred and George. They smiled at me giving me a side hug.

"So, How was..." Fred started.

"...your first day of school?" George finished. I shrugged.

"It wasn't that different. Just like every other day." I said. "Remember I used to join you in your classes," I said. I looked over to the teachers and looked at my grandpa before standing up "I'll be right back." I said and walked over to grandpa Dumbledore. I walked behind him and gave him a hug, and kneeled beside him so I was more hidden from the others looking at me.

"Olivia. How have you been? I see you are in Gryffindor. Though the hat and you seemed to be having an argument," Grandpa Dumbledore said. He smiled at me, a hint of amusement clear on his face.

I smiled back, and scratched the back of my neck. "I've been good. And the hat didn't know where to put me, so I decided I wanted to go to Gryffindor. And I need to tell you something that happened at the train station." I said as I started to explain what happened. Grandpa Dumbledore was nodding. "And I wanted to just let you know what happened just incase it got brought up...or Mr. Malfoy decided to say something the next time he saw you." I said.

"Alright. I'm glad you stood up for your friends. Though I would be careful around the Malfoys...they used to follow your father and might still be," Grandpa said and I nodded.

Standing up I leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "I understand. I have to go," I said and made my way to my table again and started to eat. I looked back at Grandpa Dumbledore and he winked at me. I smiled and winked back.

I walked outside and to the area we would be learning to fly. Harry and Ron had followed me. Hermione was walking beside me.

"You do realize we have time before the lesson starts?" Ron asked us. I smiled back at him.

"Of course I do, that doesn't mean we can't be a little early." I said walking over to a tree before sitting down under it. Hermione sat down next to me as she took everything in. The rest of the class started to slowly come out.

"Uh oh," Ron said and I looked up to see Malfoy and his little gang walk over to us.

"Why do they put Slytherin and Gryffindor together? They obviously hate each other," Hermione said and I looked at her. "OK. you like them, but that doesn't count you have known them most of your life." She said and I thought about it.

"True. and the two houses do hate each other they always have. I think they stick them together in hopes they might get along better," I said just as Malfoy got closer.

"Well if it isn't the mudblood, Blood traitor, Potter and..." He looked at me not sure what to call me.

"Need help?" I asked looking at him. "I'm sure I could come up with A few things to call me...Just give me a minute." I said sarcastically. I stood up. I turned to Hermione as she seemed to be affected by Malfoy's words. "And I think Being Born from two muggles and still getting Magic is cool, that means she's unique, special. As for Blood traitor, you say that and the thing is....I would rather hang out with them instead of you. You walked over to us so you can walk away. We didn't ask for your opinion, nor do we want it...walk away." I said turning away from him and grabbed Hermione, Ron, and Harry seeing as Malfoy wasn't walking away. I dragged them away from him.

"What a git," Ron mumbled.

I laughed and shook my head.

"Thanks," Hermione said as she looked at me.

"No problem. I'm not usually mean to people and just kill it with kindness. but when you pick on my friends I will be the meanest person in the world," I said just as Madam Hooch walked out.

"Hello class, please stand next to a broom and we'll begin." Madam Hooch said and everyone went to stand next to a broom.
