Mateo's POV
Before she could scream, he placed his hand over her mouth.
" I'm not going to hurt you."
" Then why..." she stood still as she realised the same hand he put on her mouth was the same one that was bleeding a while back. " Why aren't you bleeding anymore?"
" It was just a scratch. Listen to me, I'm not going to hurt you."
Before she could speak again, he kissed her neck. She wanted to protest, to say something but she felt safe with him. She didn't understand why, but she knew deep down in her heart that he wasn't going to hurt her. She pushed him back and looked into his eyes. He stared back into hers, why was she making his heart beat louder? He wondered
He took a step back and tried to clear his head but her heart pounding and her silence weren't helping him. He took another step closer to her and pinned her behind the door. None of them said anything but just kept looking into each other's eyes. He cupped her chin and brought it closer to his lips, she gasped.
He wondered how she tasted like, he looked at her tiny lips and closed the distance by bringing his lips a little closer.
" Mr Miller, don't!"
He dropped her chin, but he didn't move. He contemplated, did he want to remove every fabric on her body and have her or did he want to compel her to forget any of this ever happened?
" Go!" He said clenching his teeth
" I can't."
" If you're not gone within a minute I can't promise you that I won't hurt you. Because I will."
" I can't go,you're pinning me against the door."
He didn't realise that before and it made him feel stupid. He let her go and she immediately opened the door and ran away. Why was he behaving this way? He looked at her through the window as she ran towards the gate. Did he take it too far? Maybe he should go after her and compel her.
