Finally, after so many days of waiting, it was over. That was for sure. Max Hastings was found guilty of all charges. Guilty of killing Jason Bell.
The second Pippa Fitz-Amobi heard these words on the TV in her dorm, she breathed a sigh of relief. She didn't know what to do. She wanted to cry, laugh, dance and jump for joy.
Because she could finally feel completely free, and Max got what he deserved.
She checked the time on her phone. 20:38. She took a breath. It was late, but not too late for her to return to her old life.
She got up from the couch and ran to her room, took out her suitcase and started packing clothes and a few other things she needed. She didn't know how long she was going away, when she will come back. Tomorrow she would call the dean's office with the news that she would not be at the university for the next few weeks because of family matters.
She had a mission to accomplish. And she's not going to fail her.
“Beth,” she shouted, walking into her roommate's room with a suitcase in her hand. "I'm going away for a few weeks.”
“What…what happened?” she got up from the bed full of books. "All good?” she rubbed her arms.
“Yes, yes, don't worry. I'm going home. ” she smiled at her and hugged her. - I will write.
"I hope so," she hugged back. "Otherwise, I will personally come to your town and we will talk differently" they laughed.
The girls said their goodbyes and then Pip took her suitcase, went downstairs and got into her car.
“I'm coming back to you, Little Kilton." she started the car and drove out onto the road. "I'm coming back to you, Ravi."
