I'm lost in my thoughts.
Everyday, I see you walk through that door.
Everyday, I hope it's you.
My heart is cold, but you are the warmth I need.
A piece of my soul is taken from me at every
reminder that we are just friends.
I met you this year, and since then it's been a
hell of a ride.
There's been tears of happiness, anger, sadness and confusion but just the thought of you
wipes them off my face.
My heart is complete with you, and I know that.
I see you out on the field, and my heart flatters while my stomach fills up with butterflies.
I see 26, my new reason to smile.
It melts my heart when you do what you love passionately, and you put all of it
on the field.
My head spins for you in thoughts one day
You'll be mine, but does your head spin the same for me?
I beat my thoughts trying to puzzle the
pieces together, but you only give me
mixed signals. Maybe you're just friendly.
I learned I get attached easily, and that's my problem, but you're a special one.
