At the edge of the cliff stands a little angel
Staring into the horizon
She feels like looking down
But fears she'll be scared of the height
After much thought, she jumps
She takes the leap of the rabbit
The dive of the seal
And with the weight of the bird,
She spreads her wings
But it's not to fly
She closes her eyes
Her long, silver hair flowing in the wind
She feels at peace
She doesn't wonder what could have been
Or what comes next
Because she's home now

One with the ground,

The grass turns red

"It is heart-wrenching to see another Herades fall down this path, Arael. What you have done today is unforgivable."
There stood a young girl under the gaze of Rabdos, pledging her case.
"We sisters have to respect and look after each other. This is your third time this month disrespecting a fellow member. We at the Council will not tolerate your selfish behavior one more time. This is your last warning. Next time you will be sent to Rehabilitation."Arael's shivers had nearly caused an earthquake.
"Yes ma'am..." She muttered anxiously, getting up from her chair and out of the office. But her worries fade quickly as she spots a familiar figure in the halls.
"Gala!" Arael's eyes lit up.
"So how did it go, Ari?"
"Not well..." She paused. "She said if I keep it up she'll send me to Rehab."
Galadriel seemed worried. "But, why did you even yell at that girl in the first place?"
"Isda is so inconsiderate! She always picks fights with the younger kids, and she's such a bully! I had to stand up for them." Arael retracts, crossing her arms.
"I understand how you feel, sister, but you can't keep hurting our own kind like this. You know the council is counting on me to take care of you, Arael. Everything you do ends up in my hands. You wouldn't want me punished because of you, right?"
As the weight of the realization settled in, she let out a deafening sigh.
She looks up at Galadriel with a look of understanding...
When Arael gets to her dormitory, she finds Muriel reading a book, lost in her thoughts, while her silver hair gets in the way of the pages. Arael steps closer, making Muriel quickly glance over at her, seeing her hair is unkempt and messy.
"Hey, what happened to your hair?" Muriel whispers, since it is dark and many sisters are asleep.
"Nothing that can't be fixed!" Arael mutters, both girls sharing a smile.
"Then sit over here."
She starts brushing and then braiding Arael's hair. While the warm light from the lantern beside the bunk beds shines softly, they slowly fall asleep, messing up Arael's hair all over again.
