Arael and Cassiel lay in their bunk beds, Arael still awake, looking up at the ceiling. Her mind racing with thoughts of an exit plan, she can't help but wonder how she'll be able to sneak out without getting caught again. She came to the conclusion to sneak by the bushes close to the gates, and climb from there.
Soon enough, closer to the sunrise, she puts the plan to test.
As planned, she walks, hiding from sight behind the bushes, quietly as to not wake up anyone. And with her dress full of leaves and branches, she climbs the gate, being careful not to get hurt. When she is finally out, her heart pounds fast from the thrill of excitement. She walks, the tall grass shriveling with each step. Already far from home she sees a girl, about her age, sitting by a tree. The girl looks sad.
"Hey, are you okay?" She shouts at the girl. But when she turns around, she notices something different...
