Bitter-Sweet

Alex's POV

My eyes widened as the young girl jumped up and left us sitting there, with a thousand questions running our minds.

"What problems?"Jake spoke up.

The Matron sighed heavily"well, Midnight has epilepsy, anxiety and panic attacks, that combined with Body dysmorphia,she really is a handful!"she laughed.I just felt so much pity for Blu,her life has been anything but easy,I just want to take her home.I hope this doesn't change anything. Scott noticed the worried look that had clouded my face,he interlocked his fingers with mine,giving me a reassuring smile.

"My sister's had epilepsy, so I don't think that's a problem,"Scott added"Do any of you guys have any experience in any of the others?"

"I have anxiety,"Mitch spoke in a hushed tone.Jake quickly had his arm around Mitchs waist,pecking his cheek.

"Okay,"Scott said,his thumb making infinities on the back of my hand,"We have some ideas about Anxiety and epilepsy, and panic attacks can't be that different from the knowledge we already know, we just have no idea about Body Dysmorphia,"I looked up into his face,defeat lingered on his features.I just want Blu,she's perfect for the four of us,she's unique, natural black hair,pale skin and striking blue eyes,with hints of green and brown. Beautiful."We can research it once we have her!We've come this far,there's no going back,we can't leave our perfect daughter here!"I exclaimed.

Jake looked over all of our faces,scanning for negative expressions.He brought his attention back to the matron,"We'd love to adopt her,if she'd lien to be that is."The matron nodded in a scary manner,"you can head up to her room and tell her the good news if you'd like,"she said,hand ing us a map of the house,"she's in the roof,keep following the stairs up,until there aren't anymore,her door is the galaxy printed one."We collectively nodded and headed to the door,I was so nervous, what if she didn't want to be adopted?Scott's hand clasped around mine and Jake rested his arm around Mitch's shoulder.

After climbing 4 flights of stairs,we had reached the top floor,there was a small corridor, with two doors,one slightly open one,which was a deep blue and the door we turned to,with a galaxy pattern littering it.Without thinking,my hand was reaching out to the door knob,twisting it quickly and letting it slip open.Stood in front of us was the dark haired girl,her lips attached to those of a boy,who stood taller than her,he had brown,short hair,styled in a fashionable way,his arms were tightly hugging her waist,hers around his neck,both of their eyes were closed and they slowly swayed back and fourth.My mouth was open in shock,I heard Mitch beside me clear his throat and the two quickly separate,redness appearing on their cheeks.After a few seconds of silence,Blu spoke up"er,can I help you?"she sasses.
"Sorry,"I said,"we didn't mean to disturb anything."
"Well you kinda did,but since your hear,you can stay I guess."the boy spoke up."And who might you be?"Jake asked. "I'm Aaron,Blu's boyfriend of 4 years,and you are?"he muttered.
"We're her new parents,well,if she wants that?"Blu's face raised quickly,shock plastered on her face.
"I don't know what to say,"she said truthfully and speechless,"I'd really like that."She smiled,and a huge grin made its way into my face.Everyone was so happy,except for Aaron,you could tell his smile was fake,he was happy for his loved one,he just knew he would miss her.It was pitiful really."Pack your stuff then!We'll be waiting downstairs."Mitch said from next to me.As soon as we left our new child's room,the other boys where all moving in,engulfing me in a group hug.We've done it.We've got our girl.
