Secrets.

Scott's POV
My eyes opened drowsily.Slowly,I looked down,admiring the beauties around me.Alex had slid down the bed and was hugging my waist,his head was sunk into my stomach.Jake was led to my right,Mitch was now straddling him,his head resting on Jake's shoulder.I smiled.It soon fell as I realised something wasn't right.Blu.I searched the bed for her but she was no where to be seen.Maybe she'd ran away?She could be anywhere.I manoeuvred myself out of the bed,trying not to wake the three.Alex groaned a little,but quickly fell back to sleep,God I love him.I left her room and turned left towards the landing.As my eyes adjusted to the light,they set on her petite figure.She was sat in the windowsill,observing the sky above.I didn't want to disturb her,but I felt like I had a duty to see if she was okay.I coughed quietly and her head snapped round,her eyes looking bulbous in shock.She seemed really scared,like she'd done something wrong,when in fact I had no problem with where she had gone."If you want to look at the sky,I can show you a better view."I told her excitedly.She nodded and smiled slightly and I held out my arm for her to take.Her arm hooked round mine as I led her to mine and Alex's shared bedroom.She seemed hesitant but followed anyway.I opened up our large window,sat on the ledge,swung my feet over the edge and lowered myself down onto the lower-level roof.I turned look at Blu expectantly.She seemed worried but shrugged it of and walked over to the window,standing on the ledge and jumping, gracefully landing on one leg,the other pushed out behind her body,her torso lowered so her shoulders were aligned to her waist,in a ballet style.I felt like clapping her,she'd landed on the tip of her toe and it didn't seem to bother her!I watched as she brought her limbs into a normal posture.
"I see we've got a little dancer on our hands?"I asked happily.
"Looks like you do."She smiled humbly.
"What sort of dance do you specialise in?"I enquired,genuinely interested.
"I went to a dance school when I was really little and I learnt contemporary and ballet.When I moved to the home I carried on with both but I eventually got bored of ballet."
I nodded in reply and walked over to the middle of the roof where two Sun beds were situated,I sat down in one,and gestured for her to sit in the other.She cautiously sat down,lifting her hip length black hair to ensure she didn't trap it under her petite frame.She let it hang over her shoulder and I only then began to admire it,it was glossy and thick,the colour was such a deep black and it suited her pale skin,she was a striking character.
She looked up at the starts and sighed happily,I was so glad she was relaxed here,I really wanted her to feel comfortable and at home.I looked at the stars too.It was beautiful,the sky was full of glowing embers of yellow,white and red.We stared at the sky for what seemed like hours when she started to fidget,soon she started a conversation between the two of us.
"Um,I know you might not think I'm comfortable with it,but if you're ever curious about my past or my problems,just ask.I'm tired of foster parents having to Google things which involve me.Want to know about my family?Ask.Curious about my epilepsy,ask.I want to be more open.There's something special about you guys.I know I haven't been here long,but I can tell.You're not like the others.You didn't just send me back when I panicked or even when you found out I was troubled.Thank you for however long you keep me.Be it another day or another year.You've made me feel like I've belonged in a matter of hours.More than I've ever felt before in my entire life."
I was choked by what she had said,it seemed so out of her quiet character.I was so happy she wanted to open up to us.It showed she felt safe and comfortable with us.I couldn't begin to explain my emotions.She looked at me expectantly and I hugged her tightly,kissing the top of her head.She hugged me back and I could feel her smile against me.Once we broke away I sat back onto my seat."If it's okay,I'd like to ask something about your family?"
She smiled,"Go ahead."
"Er okay,how did your family get into drugs and were they always like that to you?"
"Truthfully,they weren't always like that.Until I was five we were a loving family,my parents had a lot of money,we gave to charity,my brothers loved to baby me and treat me like a princess.Yes,my parents did always dig at my appearance or weight and I think that's probably the cause of my body dysmorphia but I was a happy child.Then,when I turned six my grandad passed.A lot changed on that day.I knew we jade Mexican links but I was unsure of my background but I was soon informed of my grandads past and occupation.It turns out he was a Mexican drug Lord,he had a huge business and spin his death,the business fell to my farther and my brothers.A lot of people were after my grandad and from what I've gathered that's how he died,I think it was from some stand off he was having with a guy due to financial issues.Myself and my youngest brother Leo weren't supposed to know about the business until we turned 16 like my other brothers but we had to be told when we lost a lot of our money in a deal that fell through.We all helped with deals and passing over drugs.Um,I was user a lot to pass drugs over,my parents were quite clever.No one would ever expect a child to be a 'dealer'.Once my farther inherited the business things started going down hill,my parents got wasted a lot,would take drugs,my brothers didn't seem to care for me anymore,no one seemed to think I was that useful,I didn't like the situation but there was nothing I could do."
I was speechless.What a life!It seemed impossible that such a young girl could be exposed to such horrors and dangers but it happened and there's no doubt in my mind that there are many others in Blu's former position."I honestly can't even begin to think about how hard that must have been.You're so brave."I said in a hushed tone.She smiled slightly."Can we keep this between us at the moment?I don't know how the others will take it."She admitted.
I nodded yet again,"Okay,it can be our secret."She smiled as I held out my pinky for her to shake.
