Missing Him

 The moon hung high in the clear night sky, the stars twinkled brightly above him, while a warm breeze blew across his face. He sat outside on the balcony watching the people below go about their lives, while he could only dream of having a normal life with his soul-mate! Normally Roman Reigns was a pretty happy, optimistic, easy going guy, but life is great at knocking even the biggest men to their knees! And Roman was no exception!

 Two months earlier, he was happy, two months earlier he had the perfect life; a job he loved as a Special Agent for the FBI, along side his partner and best friend...brother Special Agent Seth Rollins. Two months earlier he didn't know Dean Ambrose! Until he and Seth had come to town to help the police bring down a violent, ruthless Crime Family; known as The Authority, Roman thought he was happy. Then they had arrested The Authority's top guy Dean Ambrose, and at that moment Roman's world was thrown upside down. Dean was this gorgeous, arrogant, violent badboy, and Roman was hooked the minute he arrested him! After fighting his feelings, Roman finally told Dean how he felt and was so happy to know Dean felt the same. It was in that moment Roman realized his entire life up until that point had been lies, finding Dean truly made him happy!

 Of course life isn't like it is in movies, or Fairy Tales...no, life likes to wait until you find the one person or thing that makes you truly happy, before yanking it away from you! Roman once again, was no exception. He knew Dean and Seth hated each other, and honestly he could have found a way to live with that, but that wasn't his choice! After a deal Dean had told them about went bad, The Authority; Dean included, disappeared for a week. Seth made it his mission to prove to Roman that he had been right about Dean the entire time. Days later Roman had finally spoken to Dean and they managed to save their love, but now they had to sneak around, hiding their love to protect each other. Then just when they thought they were happy, Roman waa kidnapped by a rival Crime Family; The Wyatt Family! He was rescued a few hours later by Dean, but neither had escaped unharmed; he had been beaten by the Wyatts, and as they escaped Dean had been shot in his shoulder. Then as Roman left the hospital with Seth he was given the ulitmate betrayal, when they were stopped by another Agent and told that not only was Roman off The Authority case; suspended from duty, but he was also being investigated on his actions regarding the case...all because of Seth!

 The hurt Roman, he never thought Seth would go behind his back and betray him like that! Of course when he confronted him, Seth told him he had done it for Roman, but he knew the truth! Now, two weeks later he was almost completely healed from his physical injuries; except for his broken left arm and hand. Being suspended meant all he could do was sit by helplessly, while Seth and his replacement Agent Will Ford tried to takedown Dean and The Authority! Roman hasn't spoken to Seth since the night at the hospital, and worst of all he hasn't seen or spoken to Dean either since that night! Dean hadn't contacted him, and Roman couldn't contact Dean, it was too risky! So, Dean had no idea what was going on, and that scared Roman. Needing to be close to Dean, Roman began playing with his ring; the promise ring Dean had given him and he wore the matching ring. It wasn't the same as having Dean in his arms, but it was a piece of Dean he could keep with him, just like Dean's ring was a piece of Roman, Dean could keep with him. A ring wasn't any comfort on a lonely night like tonight though, and Roman wasn't sure how much longer he'd be able to do this.

**Two Days Later**:

 Two days later Seth was at work trying and failing to concentrate on the case; his mind was once again thinking of Roman! Seth felt horrible, but he really believed he was doing the right thing for Roman. He had almost lost Roman once to a case, and he refused to take that chance again! He realized too late that he should have gone to Roman first, made him understand his fears, before he called their bosses! Now he had pushed Roman away probably forever, and that killed him, he missed his big brother it felt like piece of him was missing! Funny wasn't it? Trying to avoid losing Roman, Seth screwed up and lost him anyway!

 Seth sighed as he looked across from him at the now neatly organized deak. It was a big difference from his own desk and how Roman used to keep his; they liked to call their style organized chaos! Even back at the buerau their desks were like that! Things were different now, Seth was forced to work with an Agent both he and Roman hated, Agent Will Ford. Ford was excatly like the typical FBI Agent; he was a complete neat freak, everything from his suit to his desk was clean and organized, nothing out of place. He was as uptight as you could get, he did everything by the book, no exceptions! He was arrogant, rude to everyone and had to do things his way or he thought it was wrong! He was constantly making rude little comments about Seth and Roman. Seth was losing his cool with Ford, especially when he'd bad mouth Roman or Roman's work! Every chance Ford got he would remind Seth he wasn't like them, or he wasn't Roman and that's why Roman was in trouble. Seth knew he had to be professional, so he learned to bite his tongue and ignore Ford before he said or did something he'd regret!
