Making A Plan

**Weeks Later**:

 The days passed and nothing changed, Roman was still off the case and the investigation into him was still happening. The only time he left the hotel room when he wasn't going to see Dean, was to the police station to be interviewed by Ford. His relationship with Seth wasn't any better, Roman still hadn't spoken to him and he avoided Seth. The only good thing in his life he had left was Dean, when he was with him all the stress, hurt and anger he felt disappeared! He had also became close to Paige, she was like a sister to him, it wasn't forced, it happened naturally and quickly surprising all three!  Having Paige also helped keep Roman sane during the times Dean couldn't contact him, she'd call or text him and reassure him that Dean was okay.

 As the days went by Roman found himself thinking a lot about his life, and seriously wondered what he had left, and it always came back to Dean! Dean was the only constant in his life, the only reason he still smiled and got up every day! He began to think what life would be like if he and Dean ran away together, free to be in love. At first it was just a daydream, but as the days passed and the thought never went away he knew this was what he wanted to do!

 The only problem was...how would he convince Dean to do it? He knew Dean would refuse, scared that his family would track them down and hurt them! Roman knew he had to convince Dean, knowing that if they stayed it was only a matter of time before Seth and Ford managed to bring The Authority; including Dean down and he would lose him for good!

 He had made up his mind, he was going to run away with Dean! He'd convince him somehow...he had to! Now he just had to wait for Dean to contact him, thankfully he didn't have to wait long.

  D- Hey baby boy, I have the entire night free! Can you get away?
  R- That's awesome! I can, but how did you do it?
  D- A little Paige magic! She told Hunter and Steph we were going out to do a little job!
  R- What? Remind me to thank her later!
  D- I already did! I'm waiting for you, so don't keep me lonely for too long!
  R- I'm on my way, I love you!
  D- I love you too!

 After ending the conversation, Roman erased it before grabbing his things and leaving. As he drove he should have felt nervous or something, knowing what he was about to talk to Dean about. Instead all he felt was excitement and anticipation!

  He arrived and headed for their room knocking on the door. Seconds later Dean answered smiling. They went inside locking the door behind them, Roman put his bag down beside Dean's. He turned to face Dean, both smiled as Roman pulled Dean to him kissing him passionately, as he led them to the bed, where they lay down without breaking the kiss.

  A couple of hours later they lay together talking, Roman knew what Dean's reaction would be, but knew he needed to bring it up now, before he lost his chance. Sitting up he took Dean's hand as he looked into his eyes.

 "Dean, I've had a lot of time to think about my life these past few days."

 "And?" Dean asked gently.

 "Before you came barging into my life, I truly thought I was happy. Then I meet you and realize I had been lying to myself! Dean, I love you so much and the thought of being without you literally scares me, it rips my heart out! So, I decided I want to run..."

"No!" Dean said cutting Roman off, as he got up and put his boxers back on.

"Dean, baby please just hear me out!" Roman begged, as he stood and put his boxers on too.

"Roman, I love you, I really do! But I'm not running away with you!"

"Why? Don't you want to be with me?" Roman asked upset.

"Of course I do Rome, hell that's all I ever think about!" Dean answered.

"Then why won't you do it?"

"I can't do it because I know what my family will do to us! They'll hunt us down and they'll kill you, don't you get it Ro? I won't let them hurt you because of me!" Dean answered upset.

"Dean, I know the risks, trust me I haven't forgotten what your family can do! I also know that it's only a matter of time before Seth brings your family; including you down! I'd rather spend my life on the run with you, then have to live my life without you!" Roman said, his tears falling silently.

"Don't cry baby boy, you know I hate it when you do." Dean said gently, as he held Roman close. "Ro, before I answer you I need to be sure you know what you're getting yourself into! All the danger and struggles that come with it?" Dean asked, pulling away so he could look at Roman.

"I do Dean, and I'm not scared as long as you're by my side!" Roman answered.

"Okay, let's do it!" Dean said.

"Seriously?" Roman asked smiling.

"Yeah, I can't lose you Ro, and if this is the only way to stay together...then let's do it! It won't be easy, but we'll manage somehow!" Dean answered, as he kissed him.

"I love you Dean!"

"I love you too Rome!" Dean said hugging him tight.

"When are we leaving?" Roman asked.

"We'll leave tonight, get a head start!" Dean answered. "We'll go home, get our stuff and I'll pick you up in an hour!"

"Okay, be careful Dean!" Roman said kissing him.

"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine! In one hour we start our new life together!" Dean said hugging him.

"I can't wait!" Roman said smiling.
