Saying Goodbye

Leaving To Keep Him Safe

**Two Days Later**:

 Dean sat in a chair, by the bed as the sun came up, watching Roman sleep. Dean starred at him, studying his gorgeous face, wanting to memorize every little thing about him. His tears fell silently, as his heart ached knowing what he was about to do to Roman. He had spent the last two days thinking about what to do. Last night, after Roman had gone to bed, Dean went to the car and grabbed both their phones. He had gone to the balcony, when he returned to their room, and turned them on. He was shocked to find all the texts and voicemails from Paige on both phones. Each one made him realize what he had to do, and even though it killed him he had no other choice.

 He packed his things and loaded them in his car, before he returned to the room. He had spent half the night trying to write a goodbye letter to Roman. He struggled to find the words to say goodbye, and finally he found them. When it was finished he sat in the chair, holding the letter as he watched Roman sleep. He wanted so badly to rip up the letter, burn it and take Roman in his arms, never letting go, but knew he couldn't. He sighed shakily, as he got up and put the letter on the pillow, before he knelt down beside the bed. He gently brushed the hair off Roman's face, he then kissed his forehead softly not wanting to wake him. He then whispered he loved him, before he stood up and headed for the door. He stopped and turned to look at his Samoan Prince one last time, before he opened the door and stepped outside. It was a beautiful morning to break an innocent heart.

**With Seth And Paige**:

 They had driven all night, finally arriving at the town Dean had told her they were last at, and both Seth and Paige were nervous. Not only were they nervous to see Dean and Roman again, but about their own future too. What would happen to them once they were all reunited? Would all four of them continue to run together? Or would they go back and lose each other?

 Needing to stall Seth stopped to get coffee, as he parked Paige recieved a text from Dean. Seth hadn't noticed, so she quickly opened it and began reading.

  D- Hey Paige, it's me! I'm sorry I didn't answer you, our phones were off, but we're okay. Paige, I lied, I'm not okay! I left Roman, I broke up with him to keep him safe from our family! I'm a fucking coward, I did it while he slept! I'm dying without him Paige! I'm coming home kid, I'll see you soon.

 Reading Dean's words made her own heart ache, she needed to tell him she was in town. So, she told Seth to go into the coffee shop without her. After he left she quickly texted Dean, he was hurting, she knew Dean and he might do something stupid!

  P- Dean, where are you? Are you still in the same town you last told me you were in?
  D- Yeah.
  P- Dean, don't get mad or freak out, but I went to Seth for help to find you guys when you didn't answer me! We're in town now!
  D- You did what? Paige, do you know how dangerous that is? You could have been seen by the family and gotten hurt!
  P- I didn't! What hotel are you at?
  D- The Rose Mount Inn.
  P- Okay, don't leave yet, wait until we get there alright?
  D- Alright.
  P- Seth's coming, I'll see you soon! I love you D!
  D- I love you too kid!

 Paige quickly put her phone away as Seth got back into the car, handing her a coffee and muffin.

 "I didn't know what to get you, so I hope that's okay?" Seth asked smiling.

 "It's fine, thanks." She replied kissing him.

 "We'll eat breakfast first, then we'll go around and ask people if they've seen Dean and Roman. Hopefully they're still in town!" Seth said sighing.

 "Hopefully!" Paige agreed.

**With Roman**:

 The morning sun shone through the window, Roman slowly woke up a smile on his face. The room was quiet, he sat up and looked around, as he did something felt different! He quickly got up, throwing his pants on as he called for Dean. Getting no answer he looked on the balcony first, but he wasn't there. He then went and knocked on the bathroom door, before opening it, Dean wasn't there either! As he returned to the bed his heart began beating fast as he spotted the letter. He went to the bed and picked it up, he starred at the folded piece of paper for a few seconds, before he finally opened it as he sat on the bed reading it.
