Late Halloween chapter

I'm really sorry this is two days late! I had planned to submit for halloween, but everything had gotten really busy! i really hope you can forgive me!

The house was full of noise, this evening as everyone rushed around for multiple different reasons. It was Halloween and everyone was busy, The household had become rather full up to say the least. Though (y/n) had become accustomed to this, at this point they were used to at least two different people (or demons) in their house. They rubbed their hands, Before placing the large bag of candy/sweets and giant sized chocolate bars on the side.

"Let me have one!" Jin exclaimed his hand reaching towards one of the chocolate bars. (y/n)'s eyebrow twitched as they lightly smacked it away. "It's not for you" Yin began to sneak up from behind ready to grab one, as (y/n) stopped Jin from grabbing them. it was clear that Jin was the distraction. " Don't even think about it Yin" Yin Froze, as he was about to grab one. He had been caught. The Twins shivered, before quickly holding each other in fear. tapping their foot against the ground, hand on their hips (y/n) stared at there shoulders tensed and hunched up.

"can i have one?" A small voice popped up, excitedly.

(y/n) turned around to see the small black haired girl, a large excited grin on her face. attached to the headband on her head, were fake curved horns. They wore red clothing, with gold designs, and black gloves with fake sharp nails on it. They had face paint on, though despite this you could easily see how excited they were. clinging to (y/n)'s jacket, their hand scrunching the red and white fabric pulling at it to one side. She batted her eyes innocently, making the reader raise their eyebrow once more.

"Sure"

"WHAT!?" Jin and Yin shouted in unison, half annoyed that they had been beaten by a literal child. The other side of them was shocked, that it even worked. Bai He (The name I'm using for The little girl/lady bone demons host) Grinned excitedly showing the red stained teeth. (The cheap blood, had managed to get in their mouth staining it). She hugged (y/n)'s waist tightly, the cheap Halloween makeup on her outfit, smudging onto the reader's clothes.

Stroking Bai He's Hair, careful as to not accidentally knock the Fake horns off her head. She slowly moved her hand down, not wanting to accidentally pull on any of the knots.

"Annoying brat" The twins muttered in the back, Jealous. Jealous of a child. Jealous of the fact, the reader liked a child more then them. Gleefully, Bai He chewed on the large chocolate bar bouncing slightly, a jump as they switched weights from one leg to the other.

Suddenly a loud crash could be heard.

"Don't cause any trouble" (Y/N) sternly said to the twins, Putting the fear of god into them. Sure they were dumb, but they weren't that dumb to break anything after being told not to By (y/n). If they did though, they'd blame it on Mk. The twins gave a salute, watching as (Y/n) quickly brisked away ready to figure out what had happened.

"THIS IS YOUR FAULT!"

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!"

(Y/n) could recognise the arguing anywhere. They rolled their eyes, Leaning against the doorframe, wondering how long it the two would take to recognise them. They glanced across the kitchens, It was a mess, an absolute Pig pen. Ingredients across the counter and flood, Red glaze across the floor, footsteps having walked into it. With the Halloween decorations up it looked like a cheap movie Murder scene, which almost made (y/n) snort. Funny how the mess had made It look better then the actual decorations.

"YOU'RE THE ONE THAT START-Darling!" Macaque called before chuckling nervously, his black tail wagging lowly. A slow pace watching intently, wanting to see what their reaction would be. Surely they wouldn't be that mad-Right? It was Wukong's fault after all. Eh whatever, he could find a way to get out of it anyway.

"Hey Peaches-What are you doing?" Wukong asked a raised eyebrow, of Macaque appeared next to the reader, His black tail wrapped around their waist. Macaque for a brief second glared at Wukong, but didn't say anything. He wrapped his arm around the readers shoulder and resisted the  urge to be petty and stick his tongue out.

"What does it look like? I'm their favourite, so I'm hanging out with them"

Wukong's eyes widened in slight surprise, Him the favourite? Oh hell no. Wukong was honestly insulted that Macaque thought that was even possible.

"You? The favourite? Oh pleeeasse!" He remarked, putting great exaggeration on the please part. Macaque growled removing his tail from the reader's Waist before he marched up to Wukong, thus starting another petty argument.

(Y/n) sighed, rolling their eyes as they pinched their nose. "How many times have you rolled your eyes, in the last hour?" A tired and slightly annoyed voice asked. (Y/n) raised their eyes, before the room began to spin their body being lifted into the hair. They Felt large hands wrap around their sides, as they were spun around.

"Put them down You idiot!" A raspy voice scolded, the voice was in fact their savour. Huntsman, he wore a bored (though, you could tell with his eyes that he was slightly annoyed). "Oh uh- Sorry" Goliath apologised, before gently placing the reader back on the floor. He patted their head excitedly. "Do you like my costume?" Goliath asked, the reader tilted their head in confusion, looking them up and down. "I'm huntsman!"

The reader snorted, as Huntsman's head quickly snapped over to look at Goliath. "WHAT?!" He half whispered, in confusion. Huntsman looked Goliath up and down, before realising Goliath was wearing a similar coat to me.

"I told him not to wear that, but he didn't listen" Syntax said his eyes had closed, honestly being around those two gave him more greys then he thought were possible. A sly chuckle could be heard, sending shivers up the readers spine. Slender hands wrapped around their collar bone as someone rested a head on their shoulder, smooth hair falling around their neck.

"Hello My little demon" Spider Queen whispered.  Syntax flinched quickly looking at the spider queen realising she had arrived. He hadn't heard her and didn't expect it.

The reader chuckled glancing at the spider queen. "Hello My queen" They greeted playing along. "It's been a while hasnt it?" The reader asked, the group.

"Yeah it had, we missed you and when you were hosting a party we of course came." Goliath admitted being, one of the few in the group who's actually fully admit his feelings.

"I didn't" Huntsman said crossing his arm, A dark blush covering his face. He moved his head to the side to try and avoid it.

I'm really sorry for the late chapter once more, I had actually planned it for it to be longer and more detailed and more events to happen and it had been planned for almost a month, but things ended up going differently 😭. I promise the Christmas one will be much better. Have a lovely rest of the day/night!
