Chapter Four

(It's been way to long! I hope everyone's alright! Also season four is finally out! I'm loving it so much! Azure Lion is so fine though😭 I really want to do a valentine's special, so you guys put the character's you want and I'll do a small valentine's special!)

A few weeks had passed after the meeting between Mk, and (y/n), and honestly everything was going perfect. Well as perfect as you could be in this chaotic place anyway. "Morning Kid" Pigsy grumbled, slightly more enthusiastic than normal. (Y/n) managed to get out a sleepy half morning, their word, as they sat down on the stool. Their head placed on top of their hand, as they struggled to keep their eyes open. Tang and Pigsy looked at them slightly worried, as Mei stole some of their food they were planning to eat. "Mk kept you up?" Mei asked, as they slurped on some noodles. Jolting up at the question, it looked around alert, before they calmed down. They didn't look as tired anymore, they were slightly more awake.

"Partly, He snores loudly" (y/n) muttered rubbing their eyes (a bit too harshly) to wake them up. They noticed Mei had been eating their food. "Do you want it-OUCH" (y/n) clutched their throbbing heads, before noticing a wooden spoon by the side of the floor. Looking over they noticed that Pigsy had thrown it at them, and boy did they look mad. "Oh no you don't! You need to eat your food! Stop giving it to Mei!" He growled, getting ready to throw another wooden spoon at the poor demon.

Narrowly dodging the spoon, as they chucked themselves to the floor, with quick speed. With how fast they were, you could have called them the next Flash. "Relax Pigsy! No need to get so mad!" Mei nonchalantly said, as she leaned on the counter, though that was short lived as she slipped and fell two seconds later, groaning in pain. "Ow! My ribs! (y/n) ...Please as my final wish...Hold me" Mei asked Dramatically, as waterfalls began to drip down her face like a flood. She raised her arm out to the young demon. exaggerating every move she made.

The Demon gave into the young girl, crouching to the smaller woman and holding her in their arms. Mei began to milk the little show out even more, raising her arm to the sky. "The light! It's calling me!-BLEGH" Her head fell to the side, her tongue sticking out of her mouth. Tang and (y/n) laughed at this amused by Mei's antics. Letting go of the girl, (y/n) got up, grabbing their coat(Which had been given to them by Tang) and putting it on them, buttoning it up.

Lifting her head quickly Mei looked at the demon, their eyes looking like they had turned into fire. "(y/n), are you by any chance going to the shops?" Pausing when (y/n), turned their head looking at them. "I guess? i'm going to the market. Want me to get you anything?" Asked the young demon. Mei nodded her head quickly, so quick (y/n) was sure they'd get a headache and be dizzy.

"Can you get me one of those new desserts! Please! I will give you the money for it!" Mei begged, putting on her best pleading face, as she clasped her hands together begging. She looked a lot like a puppy. A ridiculously cute puppy of course. (y/n) gave an awkward thumbs up to the girl, this caused Mei to hug (Y/n)'s legs. "Thank you! Thank You! Thank You" Mei thanked, becoming as energetic as ever.

Twirling the strings of its jacket, they began to walk to the Market, a place of, what would be the best word to describe it? Chaos. Yes, that word fits perfectly. A bustling big place. Crammed, with people and demons alike! (y/n) had been surprised when they found out that over here the humans and demons got along well. A lot of them lived in harmony, well besides from small chaotic groups from each side.

They twirled the jacket's string around their finger, being in deep thought, as they licked their lips. Well, that was until they felt something warm, bash into them, followed by a thump, as someone or something fell to the ground. Turning around they saw a man with red hair and glasses? "Are you okay?" asked (y/n) offering their hand to the man. He tsked, looking upset at the thought of being helped up.

He smacked their hand away before getting up by himself. "I, Redson, do not need your help! Pitiful-" He paused his mouth open slightly as he looked at the taller person, he shivered slightly. They certainly were not human; he could feel it. They were a demon, and a powerful one at that.

(y/n) watched in slight confusion, in the span of a minute, this man did a complete one-eighty, at first, he appeared annoyed and mad as his hair began to sizzle, and the ends began to transform into fire? Right, they were demons. They noticed how their facial expressions changed, from angry to confused then it was slightly shocked? Though that expression did not last long as it once again changed. Though this time (y/n) could not figure out what it was. . "You should watch where you're going, you imbecile! You have eyes, afterall! So use them! Pathetic" He mumbled shoving past the demon, and leaving the area.

(y/n) stuck their tongue out at him, while being around Mei and Mk they had become ever more childish than what they originally were. Perhaps it was a good trait they have gained or perhaps it would lead to something bad who knows.
