We are sitting in the gallery and it's almost dinner time, the way he soothed me today was something I hadn't expected from anyone and in no way him. But the way he took care of me, held me, and comforted me felt nice, genuinely caring. I think I should also do something for him, but what?

It is then I remember how he had earlier carried me up to the temple that too on those burning stairs, my god what must be the condition of his feet right now? How can he even walk around normally like nothing happened?

I call a worker and tell him to bring ointment, hot water and a towel with some bandages. Listening to me he instantly thinks I got hurt, "Aap thik hain Inara, aapko kahin chot lagi hai? Aapne humein bataya kyun nahi hum aapko chalkar aane nahi dete."

(Are you okay Inara? Did you get hurt somewhere? Why didn't you tell me I wouldn't have let you walk here."

"Arey rukiye! Khud dekh lijiyega hume kahan chot lagi hai."

(Stop! See for yourself where I got hurt.)

As the worker brings the required things I settle my seat opposite to him and slowly go towards him, he looks at me with curious eyes thinking what I am doing, when I take his leg and keep it on my lap.

"Inara, what are you doing? Leave my leg."

"Just be quiet for once, will you?"

I see the sole of his feet is all red and a bit swollen with burn marks in some place,

"Aapke pairon ki ye halat hai aur aap tabhi se ghum rahe hain !"

(Your legs are in this condition and you are roaming around from that time.)

"Itna bhi kuch nahi hua hai Inara chodiye, ye apne aap thik ho jayega. I can handle this much."

(It's not that much of a big matter leave it Inara, this will heal itself.)
