The whole night, sporadically, Aengus had to get up to check the bulbs and the power. Every hour and a half he would leave his warm spot on the couch but everytime he came back a smile would be plastered on his face.

the seal would never move from its spot on the couch, it was out like a light, snoring the entire time. he just came back for the final time that night, having just ruined the light off due to the sun rising. he saw the snoring seal in its, probole, favorite spot.

"I wonder if you have a seal name." he mumbled to himself while sitting down, patting it's head, "you seals are so wired, maybe you have your own language us boring humans can't comprehend." he began to drift off, sleeping slowly but surely wrapping its welcoming arms around him, "my name is Aengus, probably not as cool as your name, whatever it is….."

and just like that, he was out and right after he went to sleep, the seal woke up. it looked at the male, who fell asleep petting her. she quickly flipped off the couch, causing it to land back on the ground normally with a thud but the human didn't stur. and with that she hopped back to the bathroom and removed her pelt. she peeked her head out and saw the man still asleep so she grabbed her boots before running towards the door but stopped in her tracks.

She heard a mumble and turned towards the human and saw he was shivering slightly and patting the spot she once was in her seal form. so she tipped toed back, replaced her seal form with a large nearby pillow, covered him with a blanket and turned off the TV.

she then walked back toward the front door and smiled back at the man who now had a small, sleepy smile on his face and then she was gone into the daybreak.
