I've been in 4th grade for 2 months now.
I arrive at the door of my house and come in, I see my mother collapsed on the sofa crying. I rush in his direction.
“Mom, what’s wrong?”
⁃ Your aunt.
⁃ What does she have ?
⁃ She is dead "
⁃ No it is not possible... "
She gave me a slight nod.
I feel sadness coming over me... I loved my aunt so much.
“His funeral will be tomorrow.
⁃ Okay...Okay.
⁃ It'll be OK "
I go to my room and lie down on my bed. I'm going back down to do my homework. I have math, English and history. I read on my diary “English: learn the first 7 irregular verbs, HG lesson + 3 questions, math exercises 2 and 3 page 213.
" All that...
⁃ Do you have a lot to do?
⁃ Yes, quite. Okay, I'll get started. »
I'm finally finished.
“We're going to eat soon, so please clear out your things and set the table.
⁃ Okay mom, I just finished. »
I pack up my notebooks and take out the cutlery and plates.
Dad just got home from work, he's a doctor. We sit down at the table and start eating
" You have a good day. Dad asked me.
⁃ Well yes until tonight
⁃ I know it's difficult but it will pass »
I eat quickly and go to bed.
It's Saturday, it's the day of the funeral. I go down to have breakfast and go back to my room to get ready. I put on a black shirt and black pants. We finished getting ready and got into the family car. We arrive at the cemetery, and walk towards the grave. Around twenty people are already there waiting for the funeral directors to arrive. I feel sadness washing over me again. The funeral directors arrive with the coffin on their shoulder. They put him on the ground and bury him, we are all very sad. The ceremony is over we finally go home and there my phone vibrates
“Hello?
⁃ Hello, it’s Lucas. How are you ?
⁃ No not too much.
⁃ For what ?
⁃ My aunt died
⁃ I'm sorry for you
⁃ Do you want me to come to your house?
⁃ Yes I want to, I ask my parents.
⁃ Dad, mom, Lucas can come to the house.
⁃ But of course you need it
⁃ You can come
⁃ All right, I'm coming... "
