[AUTHOR'S POV]

Kiara decided to continue the conversation.

[Kiara]: Man I miss Ruby!

[Ajey]: Ruby? A friend of yours?

[Kiara]: meri jaan.

[Ajey]: be practical, how can someone be your jaan?

[Kiara]: someone can..

[Ajey]: uh huh so you're talking about this 'jaan' of yours in front of me?

[Kiara]: Yeah, why? you don't like me talking about "someone else"?

She looked at him with a smirk.

[Ajey]: Noo no no it's not like that it's just that- that-

[Kiara]: mhm I got it. Don't worry I know

[Ajey]: Just tell me who is this jaan of yours already!

[Kiara]: It's actually not a person.

[Ajey]: WHAT? I mean whaaaaat you're attracted to objects?

[Kiara]: no Ruby is my cat!

[Ajey]: hmm I didn't get this information before.

[Kiara]: That's why I yelled at you because She hasn't eaten anything since that day.

[Ajey]: What day?

[Kiara]: The day you kidnapped me.

[Ajey]: You still think you're kidnapped? plus it hasn't even been that long, it's just been ONE day the cat must have eaten something It's a fucking cat!

[Kiara]: You don't understand..

She starts tearing up.

[Ajey]: wait why- I'm sorry, what happened? why are you crying?

she wipes her tears and explains the situation.

[Kiara]: Ruby and I have been together since my mom's death. She has helped me overcome my depression, people came and left but she stayed, I love her more than anything in my life. Your spy or secret agent told you the obvious information that anyone can get of anyone. Like I do of yours but I still don't know what's in your heart..like you don't know what's in mine. everybody goes through a lot in their lives but I believe my life is the most fucked up. I never made any friends just because I felt sympathized whenever I joined a conversation like bhai mai normal insaan hu mujhse pyaar se baat na karo but no one listened! I know everyone who hung out with me did that for that positive image of theirs. Just because of my dad I never dated anyone because I never wanted a man like my dad so you can get the idea of how bad of a man he was. My relatives are like ghosts, the time I started earning money they came back looking for me and took me from the orphanage, sahi chutiya banaya unko mene and shukar hai bhaag gayi. Then Ruby came in my life and it just got better, just me and Ruby, the perfect life, but now I'm here and you still haven't told me why you've kept me here!

she had tears rolling down her eyes. She looked at Ajey who was already looking at her. He held her hand gently and said

[Ajey]: well Ruby is a keeper man, I gotta admit.

[Kiara]: you still won't tell me na?

Ajey looked at her innocently with denying eyes and Kiara accepted it. Kiara then decided to keep it cool between them and not to be scared of him anymore.

[Ajey]: I'll tell you when it's time. Why did you tell me all this?

[Kiara]: Misinformation is harmful plus I don't know how long you'll keep me here so we must know about each other, anyways now your turn!

[Ajey]: Me? uh, My name's Jadugar I- I mean Ajey and I do magic...

[Kiara]: go on...

[Ajey]: I loved doing magic as a kid and knew I'd become a successful Magician one day and here I am but I never imagined I'd be here with a beautiful girl looking at me this cutely I guess life's unpredictable-

They both looked at each other and Ajey blushed hard.

[Ajey]: I didn't mean that..

[Kiara]: OH really??? you didn't?

[Ajey]: ...

[Kiara]: you're drunk.

[Ajey]: too drunk.

[Kiara]: OH I JUST REMEMBERED, when are you returning my phone btw?

[Ajey]: I won't eat it don't worry, you'll get it. Why do you need it anyways?

[Kiara]: what do you mean why? I'm bored of staying in a room alone! plus I need it to know my location so that I can plan how to escape-

[Ajey]: I told you, you're staying here.

[Kiara]:  who are you to tell me?

Ajey narrowed his eyes

[Ajey]: Who am I?

he came close to her ear and whispered

[Ajey]: I'm the one you wanted to know about.

Kiara was shocked and Ajey backed up but he kept her eyes on her.

[Kiara]:  I got everything I needed to know... eevveryything..

There was now complete silence between both of them. Suddenly the place got colder and Kiara shivered. Ajey took off his coat and covered it around her shoulders.

[Kiara]: Thank you..

[Ajey]: no need.

She felt that Ajey was now cold so she went close to him and side hugged him. He looked at her cute face smushed against his shoulder and chuckled. After some time he noticed that she had fallen asleep on his shoulder so he carefully picked her up in his arms and started carrying her to her room. They were now at the stairs so he carefully and slowly escalated down the stairs not disturbing her. The hallways were echoing with the sound of his steps and he finally reached her room. She was now half awake as he laid her down on the bed.

The room was fully dark but the moon's natural light escaped from the window and made the room visible. He had his hands under her waist when they suddenly had eye contact in the dark. He removed his hands and put them around her face removing the hair strands. Suddenly the eye contact got so tense that he pulled in for a kiss but-
