[chapter 18]

[KIARA'S POV]:

He looked outside the window this time and I was the one looking at him. I suddenly remembered about Ruby again... SHIT. 

[Kiara]:  AJEY!!

He looked at me in shock as he was busy in his thoughts before. 

[Ajey]: Kya hua?

He asked seriously.

[Kiara]: Ajey wo... Ruby...

He looked at me with a sudden realization and looked as worried as I was.

[Ajey]: Shit! Should we go back?

[Kiara]: Nahi wait Ajey... I'll think of something...

[Ajey]: How will you live without her..?

[Kiara]: I... I have you now Ajey.

He smiled and looked away while I was thinking about Ruby. 

[Kiara]: I got it!

[Ajey]: What?

[Kiara]: Imma text Nina to take care of her, she'll do it.

[Ajey]: Nina?

[Kiara]: Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, she's my boss.

[Ajey]: You're gonna tell your boss to do your work?

[Kiara]: Oh she's not one of those typical bosses, she's very sweet actually. Imma text her real quick.

[Ajey]: Text? who sends a text? just call her.

[Kiara]: She must be sleeping, she'll see it when she wakes up.

[Ajey]: Right... 

I then texted her saying,

" Hi, I'm sorry this is very unannounced but I need a leave for some days, I'm not sure for how long but yeah I hope you understand."

"Also can you do me a favor, You know my house right? Ruby must be roaming near there, can you please take her to the cafe with you and keep her till I come back? Thanks!"

"Take care, Ni :)"

The rest of the ride was just me and him stealing glances at each other and behaving like a couple. We reached there and he thanked the driver. We had only gotten out of the car when he saw the door already opened. He took my hand anyways and started walking towards the door. When we reached inside, he saw his manager standing in the corner while looking at his phone. When he saw us, he came barging towards us and started scolding Ajey.

[Deepak]: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN AJEY? I've called you like 10 times! 

(his manager's name is Deepak)

[Ajey]: I forgot my- my phone here....

[Deepak]: WHERE WERE YOU?  You know we had a meeting related to the next show, AND WHO IS SHE? I STRICTLY TOLD YOU AJEY, NO DATING!

[Ajey]: She's Kiara and I was.. at her place...

[Deepak]: YOU WERE WHAT? 

[Ajey]: Yeah.. calm down bhaiya she's-

[Deepak]: I DON'T CARE WHO SHE IS, We missed a meeting BECAUSE OF HER! I NEED AN EXPLANATION RIGHT NOW!

I didn't even look at him in the eye because I was already frightened by his voice. I held Ajey's arm tightly and he didn't leave my hand throughout the whole time but then he told me,

[Ajey]: Kiara, you go upstairs...

I looked at him and he nodded yes so I left his arm and went upstairs with tears in my eyes because I knew that now he'd get yelled at by his manager because of me. I went to the same room where I was before and locked the door.

[AJEY'S POV]:

I could sense her trembling with fear with every word Deepak bhaiya yelled. He was very kind and humble in nature but recently it had been a tough time for him to keep up with the upcoming events that were scheduled and I was not paying attention to him because I was busy thinking about Kiara for the past few days.

After Kiara had gone upstairs, Deepak bhaiya's anger had cooled down so I decide to explain him everything.

[Deepak]: Ajey you're so non-serious about work, I've never seen you like this, what happened?

[Ajey]: Listen bhaiya,She didn't call me or anything, I was the one who went to her house, It's not her fault. We have been very close to eachother recently and...

[Deepak]: Matlab you're dating?

[Ajey]: Nahiii no I mean... well kinda, but bhaiya-

[Deepak]: Ajey you know how girls are... what if she's just after your fame and money?

[Ajey]: Bhaiya she's not one of them! she's different...she's special.

[Deepak]: Where's your proof? I still won't trust her.

[Ajey]: I'll prove it to you, SHE will prove it to you.

[Deepak]: Well idk about that but... is she the reason why you've been acting strange lately?

[Ajey]: Uhm....

[Deepak]: Oh c'mon stop blushing now.

[Ajey]: Bhaiya aap bhi na...

[Deepak]: So... what are your plans?

[Ajey]: Marriage, what else?

[Deepak]: KYAA?? so sudden? Your fangirls will go crazy!!

[Ajey]: I can't spend my whole life alone, eventually I have to get married, so why not now?

[Deepak]: I mean I don't have a problem with you getting married but atleast you should've told me before then I would've cancelled the meetings. 

[Ajey]: Bhaiya I'm telling you now na, just tell me you're happy with us getting married because I won't do it if you don't agree.

[Deepak]: Ofcourse, I am happy if you're happy.

[Ajey]: Thankyou bhaiyaa!!!

I hugged him and was so happy that he accepted her. He then broke the hug and said,

[Deepak]: Gosh I yelled at her for no reason then, I should apologize.

[Ajey]: Arrey bhaiya abhi nahi. She must be afraid of you right now... I'll go console her and for your apology I have a better plan.

[Deepak]: Really? what?

[Ajey]: i'll tell you that later...
