[KIARA'S POV]

NO WAY HE DID THIS, HE BROUGHT HER HERE!!

I thought while running towards the basket with Ruby in it. Ruby's eyes lit up seeing me, and I quickly picked her up and twirled around while hugging her. Then Ajey came close to me and said

[Ajey]: you said you missed her, so how could I resist? plus she's very soft... just like you.

he said while looking at her and I couldn't believe my ears

is he flirting with me???

[Kiara]: T- Thank you... I was so worried about her but she's alright after all.

I held her in my arms like a baby and he pulled me close to him.

[Ajey]:  I hope you're happy...

our bodies were distanced by Ruby in between, thank god! but I thought

Did he do this just for my happiness?

Does he really care about me? that's so sweet!

[Kiara]: I am delighted, thank you again...

[Ajey]: Oh no need, and I also bought toys for her.

He picked up the toys near the basket and started showing them to Ruby which made her quickly forget all her love for me, and she jumped into his arms. I was shocked,

HELLO RUBY? I'M YOUR MOM REMEMBER?

 HOW COULD SHE-

[Ajey]: I think she likes me more haha!

[Kiara]: That's not possible, I raised her!

[Ajey]:  well she's in my arms right now-

And Ruby quickly jumped off seeing other toys. I looked at Ajey holding back my laugh,

[Ajey]: uhmm.. You know how cats are..?

[Kiara]: I sure do! 

I burst out laughing. He looked embarrassed.

[Ajey]: stop laughing now, and let's go inside.

I agreed and picked up Ruby while he picked up her toys and food. we went inside but I saw Janvi near a bush looking at us from afar. 

Pfft, she can't enter inside

I wasn't concerned about her because I was just overwhelmed with the fact that Ruby was here and I wouldn't be alone! He called one of the maids and gave her the food and stuff. I put Kiara down on the floor and he said

[Ajey]: So now you won't have to be bored!

Oh, so he did this all so that I don't have a reason to leave this place

that's smart and now I don't have a reason to leave this place!!!

quick Kiara think of something, anything!

[Kiara]: well you're right... I won't be bored, but for how long? I can't just stay in this place for my whole life, I have a life to live in the outside world!

[Ajey]: What outside world Kiara? you wanna live with your "so-called relatives"? or your "so-called friends"? I'm giving you your dream palace, every girl wants to live here but you're lucky, otherwise, you'd be living in a shabby apartment, alone, your whole life!

[Kiara]: you don't understand! I don't want all this royalty! I have different dreams other than settling in a royal house with numerous maids! I like to do simple things in life on my own and I even like to do others' work thats why I work in a cat cafe. aur jahan tak baat rahi akele rehne ki, I'd rather live in a shabby apartment ALONE than live with a stranger.

[Ajey]: Am I a stranger to you? you said you had known me since your teenage years!

[Kiara]: I do, but that doesn't mean I know you in THAT WAY.

[Ajey]: What way?

[Kiara]: I mean personally. I don't know your way of thinking, nor do I know what you personally like, what's your favorite food or what are your dislikes! How can you expect me to live with someone who I don't know, what if I make them angry? PLUS about you, I don't even know if you're a human being or not! what if you belong to A mafia gang that kidnaps girls or maybe you do black magic on the girls by making them fall in love with you because I don't know how can someone resist falling in love with you-

I stopped.

what did I just say? please tell me I didn't say it

[Ajey]: I- don't belong to a mafia gang nor I do black magic...

[Kiara]: I didn't mean that it's just that I cannot live like this, under someone.

[Ajey]: Living under who?

[Kiara]: YOU, who else is here?

[Ajey]: Who said you're living under me? This place is mine but it's open... for you... you can come out from your room but you don't!

[Kiara]: because you never told me to!

[Ajey]: If I told you what to do, wouldn't that be commanding? and I don't want you to feel like you're being controlled here.

[Kiara]: But you brought me here, without my permission, How can I trust you?

[Ajey]: You wanted to know my secret... and I wanted someone who could keep my secret...forever.

I was confused af. did he want me to keep his secret? or did he want to live with me forever? he came close to me and held my hand. I let him hold my hand because at that point I could do anything just to get an explanation.

[Ajey]: I understand how you are bored in just one day, but think about me, I've been living here alone for years. I wanted someone in my life who would grow old with me, who'd spend her life with me, who'd wait for me after I came back from my shows, who'd root for me in the crowd, who'd search up a recipe and cook it for me even if she didn't know how to cook, who'd try to make me happy when I'm on my lowest, who'd act like a child but become a woman when I need her the most and when I saw you for the first time, I knew that you were the one, I could see it in your eyes, I wanted you, I loved you and that moment I decided I will love you for the rest of my life. Now it's all you to decide whether you want to stay with me or not, and even if you reject me, I'd be happy because you'd be happy.

fuck, how did we end up in a confession?

I like like him but not to the point that I'd spend my life with him.

Maybe I would spend my life with him

no Kiara are you crazy?

don't say yes to him or you'll regret it for the rest of your life

so what? love is a feeling that grows deep down in a person's heart with time
