Marvel One-Shots! <3

You Can Do This.

You walk into the gathering room with the other Avengers are currently gathered.

"Hey guys."

You announce yourself as you walk calmly into the room. Your the newbie so your still hesitant to interact with everyone else.

You return Tony's welcoming smile as he turns looking at you "Hey newbie! Come join us! We're making Cap watch Pulp Fiction. He's never seen it."

You slowly make your way into the room, smiling when Steve motions with his hand for you to sit beside him "I guess your stuck with the old man kid."

You smile politely as you sit down beside him "I don't mind."

Your head turns as you hear Tony's insistent "Hush! The movie is starting!"

You shake your head as you laugh gently as you hear everyone's moaning. You smile and finally start to relax around everyone when suddenly the Vision gets up and walks abruptly out of the room.

Tony calls over to him as he walks out the door "Hey! Where do you think your going?"

You can't help but shrink back into your seat as Vision turns and says "I think I'm going to turn in."

Tony shakes his head saying "WHAT! The movie just started! We haven't even blown Marvin's brains out yet!"

You can't help the laughter that bubbles from your chest at Vision's perplexed look as he says "Yes, well. As much as I'd love to blow Marvin's brains out. . . I'm going to retire."

You smile lightly as Vision walks back to his room, and you can't help but smile. You are finally feeling like you have a place in this group, and you have to admit. It feels really good.

* * THE NEXT DAY * *

You wake with a skip in your step as you bounce to the kitchen for some breakfast.

Your smile widens as you pass Vision in the hallway. You smile politely before saying "Good morning."

You watch the fear on his face as he walks away quickly not saying a word. You look down skeptically at your hands -- Maybe he is scared of you..

The rest of the day you talk down to yourself and freak yourself out over your current situation.

Finally at the end of the day you make a decision. You walk quickly into the lab with Tony and Bruce feeling completely drained "Tony, I need a favor."

Tony looks at you confused for a moment before agreeing "Alright, what's wrong (Y/N)?"

You shake your head to try and force the tears back into your eyes as you say "I want you to take it away."

At this Bruce walks over looking concerned as he says "What are you talking about (Y/N)?"

You look hesitantly up at Tony and Bruce before saying "This. . " -- You motion at your hands, silently telling them you want your power's taken away -- "I can't do this anymore. I want you to take it away. I can't do this. I just can't."

You watch Tony's expression as he watches you. He takes his time finding the right words before saying "You can do this. You are the only one besides Wanda and Pietro that actually survived the trials. If you can do that, you can do this. I promise."

You smile gently at his reassurance before the anxious thoughts return causing your body to become warmer "No Tony. You don't understand. I can't do this. Everyone is scared of me! Hell, I'm scared of me! I can't do this! Inject me with something! Shock me! Just do something to make it go away!"
