"okay, go!"

his camcorder recordings were always fuzzy and shaky. but no matter how bad the camera managing skills, he still always managed to take beautiful films.
he took delight in filming videos of him with friends and family; finding a peace and comfort within him.
he knew he could always look back on these recordings fondly and reminisce his youth all in one sitting.
there would be times where even if he felt unmotivated to leave his home, he'd still record himself doing daily things like brushing his teeth or dancing to his favourite music.
that was comfort to wooyoung.

everyday, wooyoung would gather his friends and set up his camcorder to record their adventures. whether it was a walk in the park, a spontaneous road trip, or a night in, he made sure to capture every moment. his friends were always initially shy and self-conscious at the sight of the camera, but they soon grew accustomed to it, realizing that wooyoung had a unique way of making them feel at ease.

as he continued to record, he discovered a sense of peace within himself. behind the lens, he could observe the world without interfering. the camcorder became his window to the world, a tool that allowed him to freeze time and preserve memories forever. it became a form of therapy for him, a way to escape the chaos of everyday life and find solace in the simple act of recording.

he realized the power of his camcorder; it had the ability to bring people together, to make them laugh, cry, and reflect. through his lens, he discovered the beauty in the mundane, the magic in the ordinary. his friends became characters in his own personal movie, and he was their director, capturing their raw emotions and genuine interactions.

it was a way for him to give back, to show his friends how much their presence in his life meant to him. the screenings became a staple of their friendship, a reminder of the joy they had experienced together.

wooyoung's camcorder became a symbol of love, friendship, and the pursuit of happiness. it taught him to appreciate the little things, to find beauty in the most unexpected places. and as he continued to record, he realized that life was a series of moments waiting to be captured, cherished, and shared with the world.

~

he sat alone on the windowsill of an empty classroom, looking through his footage with an open eye. he felt a warm feeling as he admired the smiles on all of his friends' faces in the short films.

he flipped the screen of the cam again and let the lens capture every inch of the room with a smile, showing off all of the extravagant artwork and literature displayed on the walls.

as he panned the camera, his focus stopped on one spot.
a figure.
a clear figure of a boy, standing at the door, looking straight into the lens with a smile.
wooyoung felt his heart beat a little faster as he closed the screen of his camcorder to reveal a boy looking back at him.

a muse.
the only way to describe him; a muse.
he was taller than wooyoung, jet black hair messily laid across his forehead, trailing down to well-carved eyebrows and fluttering eyes. his bone structure was strong, with well defined cheekbones, but at the same time his cheeks were fluffy. his lips were otherworldly; glossy, full and pink.

wooyoung smiled at him.

"sorry, i didn't mean to get you in that."
