Myla kept her eyes glued to the open road. And only the dark road ahead of her. The occasional bright glow of streetlights coursed their way through the car windows every ten seconds anytime Wolf passed a lamppost.

Her and Wolf currently sat in the front seats, of a white van, the rest of The Bad Guys managed to hijack earlier right after Mr. Wolf sent an emergency signal to Web's.

Myla figured the serene sight of the fleeting trees at dusk would be a lot better to focus on than have to face a group of four spies in the back.

(Just pretend their not chained up)

The whole time, Wolf drove quickly to ensure their escape from the park and the legion of police officers hunting them. Meanwhile, the crew's eyes wouldn't budge their attention away from Myla as they gawked at her like a group of carnivores staring at a dwarf rabbit, who happened to randomly hop into their den.

     Especially Mr. Snake.

She could feel his dirty look send flames right through her scalp the longer his scowl seemed to slowly collect her sense of dignity.

They weren't gaping at her in a way she felt was creepy, or life-threatening. She understands she's surrounded by a group of shocked and curious faces as to why the hell a stranger is in the same tight space as they are, but if she was being honest, a large part of her loathed the fact all four of them shared similar looks of disapproving glances.

It reminded her of how previous foster families would look at her anytime they offered to take her in as a foster child, due to that dumb, controversial lineage of hers.

Though she's used to looks like that now, it still tempted her to just shrink in her seat, and stick her nose between her knees, to never show her face again.
