Chapter Twenty Two

When they went off to bed, Tom decided to go to y/n's dorm. He wanted to talk with her about what happened today. He knocked softly and y/n opened the door for him and smiled when she saw who it was. This made him feel worlds better. "Y/n, I ran off today because I had a panic attack. I didn't know what to do and I couldn't duel. I'm sorry for scaring you. I haven't slept since the incident and I just didn't know what to do with myself." Tom explained. Y/n demanded he sleep in her dorm tonight. "Goodnight Tommy sleep well." y/n said while closing her eyes. Tom kissed her on her cheek and they went off to bed. Y/n woke up in the middle of the night to Tom shaking and crying. She pulled him into a hug to comfort him, she had seen this before and knew better than to wake him up. She held him and stroked his hair until he calmed down. After this she went back to sleep while still holding Tom. They woke up in the morning to y/n's body wrapped tightly around Tom. "Damn doll, are you trying to suffocate me." Tom said laughing. "I'm so sorry Tommy." y/n said. She began to explain what happened, when she finished Tom just looked down. "I'm sorry you had to deal with that y/n. I feel horrible." Tom said. Y/n comforted him and then left to go get breakfast. Fifteen minutes later y/n returned with her and Toms breakfast. He laughed at her and told her she didn't have to but she refused to listen. They decided they'd stay in today, because neither of them wanted to do much. They sat in bed watching films and talking about life. Tom asked y/n if she'd like to learn how to duel and she agreed to try. They planned to meet at the quidditch field at 7:30 pm after dinner to practice.

After dinner y/n and Tom headed out to the field. No one was out there as practices had finished hours ago. Tom taught her a few spells which she mastered very quickly. Soon he decided to teach her a very hard spell and he was shocked when she mastered it her first day. He begged her to sign up for the next competition and she agreed. They practiced every day together for the next week. Soon y/n knew almost every single spell for the beginner duels and even some for the higher levels. Tom signed her up for a duel that would take place this Wednesday at 6:30 pm after dinner.
