Chapter Seventeen

She decided to go ask Tom as soon as she woke up. He agreed but said he wanted to go tonight. Y/n was confused as that didn't give her much time to plan.

At around 7 pm there was a knock on y/n's door. She was ready to go but a little nervous. She'd decided to wear a pair of black leggings and Toms jacket. He told her to dress comfy so she obliged. He stood waiting with a small smile. He asked Y/n to turn around and he placed a necklace with a thin snake around it on her neck. She squealed in excitement. "Tommy we match!" y/n said. He just smiled and nodded. He took her out to the Black lake and told her they'd need to climb a little bit. They got up onto this huge cliff where you could see all the stars. He then told her about a comet that would be passing through here tonight. It was suppose to pass around 9 pm which gave them plenty of time to talk. Tom then pulled out a small cake with frosting flowers around it. Y/n smiled and realized she must have let it slip how much she loved cake. Tom asked y/n how she's been and she said she's been okay but she misses her family. "It's weird, I've never been away from them and it's like my cousin lives down the hall but we rarely talk." "Oh fuck." y/n said. Tom looked in shock. "Who's your cousin y/n?" "Um Blaise..." y/n said. Y/n explained how their moms were sisters and they were cousins. "Why didn't you tell us?" asked Tom. "Because that's not all." y/n said sucking in a breath. "I am not pure Tom." y/n said "Well yeah i'm aware sweetie." Tom responded. "No Tom i'm only a three quarters blood Im not pure." she managed to stutter out trying not to cry. "Doll, it's okay and you basically are. That one quarter doesn't change the fact I like you. I have for awhile actually." y/n was very relieved and her and Tom made a plan to tell the others. Soon the comet came and y/n was stunned. It was the most beautiful thing she'd ever seen. "Thank you Tom. That was amazing." Tom kissed her forehead and let her go to bed. "Yep definitely no more dates." chuckled y/n as she laid in bed.
