Chapter Nine

She went with the others to dinner then they went back to the common room. Y/n asked Tom to help her with something and so he followed her to her dorm. "Why were you so surprised I came earlier?" y/n said. "No one has ever came to watch me." Tom said while looking at the floor. Y/n hugged him and decided to give him the bracelet now. She grabbed it out of the bag and placed it on his wrist. He thoroughly examined it and saw his initials engraved under the snakes head. He was confused and she said it reminded her of him, and walked out to the common room. Draco asked if she'd go to the astronomy tower again. She was super excited, she loved the stars and this would be the perfect opportunity to give him his bracelet. Draco and y/n left at 10 pm when everyone else went to bed. They headed up the stairs and finally made it to the tower.

Draco smiled at y/n as she looked at the stars. She looked at him and decided the moment was now. She placed the bracelet on his wrist and he looked upset. "What's wrong? Do you hate it?" y/n asked. Draco looked like he was going to cry when he managed to say "No y/n, but no one has ever done anything like this for me." He put his hands on her cheeks and kissed him. She kissed him back and they stayed like that for a few seconds before breaking the kiss. She stared at Draco with adoration. She decided to go onto the platform for a better view. She took her shoes off and hopped over the gate infront of it. She realized how slippery her socks were and went to grab her shoes, but y/n lost her grip. She shrieked as she fell and Draco was frozen in shock. He stood there unable to move for a few seconds before he started running. He ran downstairs screaming for help. He finally reach y/n and attracted a rather large crowd with his screaming. He felt her pulse and was thankful she was breathing but he didn't know how long that would last for. He picked her up and ran to the hospital wing, their friends inches behind. When they arrived they rushed y/n back and got her checked. After what felt like hours a nurse came out. She crushed 3 ribs, broke her left hip, and has a good concussion but she should be okay. Draco immediately sighed in relief. He didn't care if he had to push y/n around in a wheelchair the rest of his life, as long as he had her alive.
