The Carnival pt2

It's the night of the carnival and me and will are getting ready, it starts soon but we can always be a bit late but I don't want to be, I wanna see Max. My girlfriend now, I think, we've haven't really established anything. I'll ask her then.

We arrived at the carnival and the sight is beautiful, there's lights everywhere and the air smells like cotton candy and fresh popcorn, but the one that mostly catches my eye was the big ferris wheel that has so many lights on it, then another beautiful sight catches my eye, Max. They all come up to us and we start talking and then went on a ride together and then went our separate ways. "What do you wanna do first?" Max asks me. "Uhh, I don't know" "mmmm let's seeeee, have you ever had a caramel apple before?" "No" "let's get you one! There literally sooooo good!" She was really excited for me to try and and so I do, it was really good as she said it would be, I eat the whole thing and max had one of her own too and ate it. After that we walked around for a bit and then got on a ride, it was a roller coaster. I was scared I mean it was big and I was squeezing onto maxes hand, "scared?" "Nope" "we don't have to ride it you know? We can always go on the-" "no, we can go on this! I've never been on one before" "you sure sure?" "Yesss" "mmm okay but like are you sure-" i stop her from talking and by pulling her arm to the line. "Im sure!" I smile at her, she gives a soft smile back and then the line starts moving.

I finally know what will means when you get that feeling in you stomach on the roller coaster. "Are you okay?" "Umm yes?" She gives me a look and then takes my hand, she Leeds us to this bench, it was an area where people weren't around us and it was dark but lights still lit up the air a bit, she made me sit down and I did, after a while of us sitting she says, "feeling better?" "Yep, but I do know what will means now with that feeling in your stomach when your on a roller coaster" she laughs and says, "yeah, everyone basically gets that feeling on a roller coaster" she smiles, "hey uh, max?" "Yeah?" "Soo.. like.. what are we?" She looks surprised. "Uh, I just mean that like, we kissed and uh-" she stops me by a kiss, then I kiss her back, "well... if you wanna be then.. we could like, be girlfriends?" "Yes! I-I mean, yeahhh.. that's like cool with, me" she laughs. I smile at her and lean in and we kiss again. We just sat there for a few and then walked out of there and then we were just walking around the crowded area of people. We were holding hands and then Max suddenly freezes when she hears, "Max? Is that you?" She lets go of my hand and then turns around, she looks almost scared. "Uh- b-Billy! What are you doing here?" "What? Just came to the carnival" "okay.. w-well me and my- ..friend are gonna go now.." "wait- now just, just wait a minute maxine," he looks at me, "what's your name?" I look at Max and she looks at me back, "e- Jane, it's Jane, I'm maxes, friend" "well, Nice. To. Meet. You... Jane" he's kind of creepy if you ask me. "We'll just be going now bye!" We start walking fast and then he calls out, "maxx.." then he yells, "are you a fucking fag!?" She stops and turns around, "No!? I-I'm not!" "You know, I hate it when you lie to me max.." max looks at me and then grabs this persons drinks and throws it all over him for a distraction. "Run!" She yells! We're hand in hand running away from Billy. He wasn't close behind but if we even take a second to look back he would be there. We run and run and then I hear Dustin and Lucas calling for our names but we kept on running, we hide behind the brick wall behind the restrooms that are in the far side of the carnival. "I-I think we lost him." Max says out of breath. We catch our breath and then I say, "why was he so angry and why was he chasing us and.. am I.. really just a friend..?" The last question caught her off guard, "o- of course your not just my friend! Your my girlfriend! And Billy is homophobic and racist he's just, not a good person. I just can't let you be around him, I don't want you to get hurt and- I just-" "max.. it's okay.." I hold her in my arms as she was sobbing. After a while she gets up and I wipe her tears with my sleeve, "it's okay, I've got you.." I kiss her forehead "max..?" "Yeah..?" "Does he hurt you? "No! He doesn't!" ".. max.. are you sure" "yes I'm sure.." I was holding onto her hand and we were just closing our eyes for a bit until we heard the boys calling our name. "Should we?" "No, cause Billy might see us come out." "Okay," I just rested my head on my shoulder and held onto her hand, she rested her head on my head too. Then we immediately let go and got up because the boys found us and then later Lucas and Dustin came, they questioned us but we stayed silent.

I was in my bed reading on my maxes comic books and then Will came in, "what really happens el, it's okay you can tell me" "fine i'll tell you, we were running away from billy, maxs' brother. I think he hurts her sometimes.." "it's okay el, tell her to come over here?" "that's a great idea thank you will, you should invite mikeee?" "yeah we can make it a sleepover!" "yeah! should we invite lucas and dustin?" "yeah! let's go ask mom and call them" "okayy!"

A/N- OMGG GUYYYSS! i'm sorry i didn't realize i didn't finish this i kind of forgot abt this and not re-reading this my grammar is soooo bad and anywyas i'll be focusing on this book more and my other one! be safe! love y'all!
