Mr. Someone

"I understand why you would be nervous, seeing as you've only been with us a couple of months, but I'm sorry Miss Grace, I simply cannot move you off the project. The opportunity to meet with Mr Park in such a manner is an extremely rare one, and seeing as all my other writers are tied up with projects, I have no choice but to send you. Besides, we both know you are capable of much more than what you have been doing with us here at Siren so far". Mr Tyler explains patiently as Skylar practically begs to be taken off the project.

Knowing everything he says is true, and appreciating his honesty, if not the embarrassing situation she is about to be in, Skylar stifles a sigh, "Thank you Mr Tyler, I understand. But I feel I must remind you that I know nothing at all about K-pop. I am afraid I may insult Mr Park, or embarrass Siren."

"Oh no need to worry, Miss Grace, just use that!! Make the basis of your questioning a sort of 'what is it' about K-pop and the role he and his group play in it. Now, I really must get on with my day. You meet with Mr Park and his people the day after tomorrow, so you'd better hustle and get those questions ready!" Mr Tyler finishes with a 'shoo' motion of his hands in her general direction as he focuses his attention on his daily agenda.

As soon as she returns to her desk, somewhat dejectedly, Skylar is pounced upon by Nancy, who is obviously bubbling over with questions for her.

"Skylar, you lucky thing!! Did you see how hot that Jimin guy is!? And you get to spend some one-on-one time with him for your article!!"

Girl, you should see how hot he is without his clothes...

"Is he?? I hadn't really noticed, I was so shocked!! Sorry, I've gotta run. I don't have much time and I need to plan out my questions for him," Skylar uses the excuse to end the awkward conversation. She quickly gathers up her bag and laptop, waving absently to a disappointed-looking Nancy as she makes a hasty exit.

Two days later, Sklyar finds herself in the line of journalists waiting to interview Jimin. Normally, she would be making the rounds, introducing herself, getting the most of an opportunity like this to put her name out there. Instead, Skylar kept to herself in a quiet corner with her head down, trying to calm her nerves at the thought of seeing Jimin again face to face. In the hopes that he may not recognize her, she had dressed in loose fitting clothing, minimal makeup, and had left her hair natural - basically everything was the complete opposite of her appearance the first time they met at the club. She isn't really concerned with what he may think of her after their tryst, they are both consenting adults after all, but she definitely did not want him to think she was trying to gain his attention now in any way. What is done, is done. She had even gone so far as to give her last name only, so she would be introduced as "Miss Grace", although Skylar had her doubts he would remember her name anyway.

"Skylar", his sexy voice rasps into her ear as his lips tickle across her neck tantalizingly, his hands sliding up her skirt as she sits straddling him in his limo on the way home.....

Skylar shakes herself to rid her mind of these images. She had tried and tried for the last 2 days to keep these memories at bay, to no avail; she just could not stop thinking of the shared passion between herself and Jimin. To try to distract herself, Skylar gets up and heads to the washroom in hopes of having a moment alone to compose herself before it is her turn to interview.

As she makes her way down the hallway from the hotel conference room to the washrooms, Skylar is muttering some affirmations and mantras under her breath to try and get herself calm and refocused. Distracted, she makes a wrong turn and bumps smack into someone. Someone with a firm and chiseled chest. Someone who brings his muscled arms around her to catch her. Someone who, with a familiar voice, says the one word she dreaded most to hear, "Skylar!?".
