Skylar had never felt so conflicted in her life.

On the one hand, Jimin's offer is the big break in her career she had been waiting for. On the other hand is, well, Jimin. She can still feel the heat on her waist where his hands had been, and hear his soft voice saying her name. Just thinking of him gets her heated...

As soon as she had arrived home after dinner with him that evening, Skylar had wasted no time in kicking off her shoes and plopping down onto her couch to read through the proposal Jimin had handed her. She had had to re-read it, twice, to be sure she was reading correctly.

Jimin's company wants to do an exclusive, up-close-and-personal feature story with him during his time here working on his solo album and doing promos for it, and he had chosen Skylar to be the writer. It is to be a pretty involved assignment- she will basically be shadowing him 24/7 for two weeks. Apparently this type of exposure is normal in South Korea for a celebrity of his status, and his company wants to test the waters with it in the North American market, and feel that Siren has the right sort of image, not to mention reader base, that they are looking for.

Skylar knew she wouldn't even need to get approval from Mr. Tyler- this type of opportunity doesn't happen every day. And the proposal states that Jimin's company, HYBE Labels, is willing to cover most of her expenses. With her being just a fledgling writer at the magazine and not likely to be missed, Mr. Tyler would surely see it as essentially risk-free.

Now all she needs to do is decide.

Skylar is jolted from her thoughts by her text notification sounding on her phone. Assuming that at this hour it is likely just Lisa wanting to know how things went this evening, she ignores it, flipping through the business proposal, skimming details, lost in thought.

When it buzzes a second time, she once again ignores it, getting up and heading to her bedroom to change. She is just pulling her sweater over her head when her phone starts ringing, startling her. She quickly dashes back to the couch where she left her phone, glancing at the display and reading Mr. Someone, the nickname she had given to Jimin. Puzzled as to why he would be calling her so soon, she takes a breath and clears her throat before answering.

"Hello, Skylar Grace".

"Oh thankgoodnessyouareokwhydidn'tyouanswermytextsiwasworried" came Jimin's voice in a rush in her ear. Skylar couldn't help but giggle a little at his frustrated tone.

"Hi Jimin. I am fine, why wouldn't I be??" she asks lightly.

"Oh." Jimin pauses, "No reason...I just....well, I texted you and you didn't reply so I called to be sure. I'm glad you're alright Skylar, have a good night"

Skylar can't help but smile at how cutely awkward he suddenly sounds. "Thank you Jimin, you too!"

When the call disconnects, she opens the text app to see that both had been from Jimin. Nothing special, just thanking her for joining him this evening, and wishing her a good night. Still, she couldn't help but smile again at his sweetness.
