Slylar could not settle back to sleep after her conversation with Jimin. I look forward to seeing you again, Sklyar.... What did he mean by that, exactly? Was he just being polite? Why does he always sound so flirty....
When she finally did manage to fall back to sleep, it was a restless one spent tossing and turning, and when she later woke for the day it was with a puffy face and pounding headache. Making a grimace at reflection and her condition in the mirror, she promised herself a nap later that day before her meeting with Jimin. Just to be sure I am clear-headed for the interview, his thoughts on my appearance are not my concern..... Or so Skylar tried to convince herself.
After coffee and breakfast, she settled in to work on her interview questions. Now that Jimin knows who will be doing the interview, and actually seemed to believe her that she truly did not know who he was on the night they first met, she had decided to go ahead with some more in-depth questions for Jimin himself, rather than just his group and the general industry.
After a couple solid hours of work, Skylar's mind starts to wander, fretting over what to wear, what her behavior should be, and what to expect from Jimin in his behavior toward her in turn. She kept thinking back to their last meeting and couldn't shake the impression that he had been glad to see her, and that his wanting to see her again was not solely just for the interview. Don't be ridiculous! He was just glad to find out you are not a stalker!! With a sigh, she powers off her computer and heads back to bed for the nap she had promised herself.

Stepping out of the car, Skylar smooths her skirt and places her bag on her shoulder before making her way up the front steps and into the hotel for her meeting with Jimin. Wanting to seem professional yet not overdone, she had opted for a soft knit long sleeve shirt, pencil skirt and modest heels. Since Jimin had insisted they meet over dinner, she had kept her hair down, styled in loose waves that swayed across her back as she walked. Pausing at the entrance to the restaurant, her eyes scan the room before she finally spots him in a private booth at the back. Without bothering to wait for the host, who is nowhere in sight, Skylar makes her way toward his booth and is rewarded with a look of surprised interest when Jimin notices her approach and his eyes scan her from head to toe, before locking onto hers with that devilish grin of his on full display. She gives him a small smile in return, as he rises to greet her. "Hi," is all he manages to get out before looking shy and flustered. Suddenly realizing he is staring, Jimin gestures for her to be seated across from him as he takes his place again.
"Thank you for agreeing to see me again, Jimin. This interview is really important to me," Skylar begins once they are both settled.
He gives a little chuckle before replying, "So I gathered, but I wasn't sure you were going to agree to see me again, you were so mad last time! You have quite a temper."
Skylar gives a little embarrassed laugh at this. "Not usually, it's just that being a young female trying to get ahead in the business world presents certain - challenges - by times."
Just then, a waiter arrives with a bottle of champagne Jimin had presumably ordered before her arrival, the label being the same as the one he was enjoying the night they met at the club. They both wait in silence until the waiter fills their glasses and takes his leave.
"Well, I am glad you came, and I hope you will allow me to explain myself? Without the temper flares this time," he gives her a little wink as he raises his glass to his plump lips.
"You claim to have good reason for insulting me last time we met?? By all means then, please explain," she replies with a lighthearted tone, his charm making it hard to be mad at him. She takes a sip of her champagne as she waits for him to begin.
"I....I'm not too sure how best to explain, so please hear me out?" He pleads with raised eyebrows and a creased forehead that is somehow still adorable. Gods but this man is gorgeous! Skylar nods for him to continue.
"The night we first...met," he pauses to give her a meaningful glance, "I don't usually, uh, meet people, in that way. In my country, we have cameras on us all the time, and we have to be very very careful. Even when I'm away it is not something I do. You seemed so chill that night, not like other girls who approach, knowing who I am and everything, so, I dunno, I felt more...comfortable with you I guess." he shrugs, not completely sure he is explaining things well, but Skylar is determined to at least hear him out so she simply nods again to show she is following. "So when a few days later I see you are one of the journalists there to interview me, and you seem to be trying to hide your identity, I'm sorry, but I thought you were a sasaeng."
"Sasaeng!?", Skylar repeats in a puzzled tone.
"I'm sorry, I don't know how you say in English...a crazy fan??"
"Oh! You mean like a stalker!" at this, she can't help but laugh a little. Now it all makes sense why Jimin had been asking if she does that sort of thing in clubs often, with people she just met. "Ok now I understand what you were trying to ask me before. And - do you believe me, now, that I am not a sasaeng, Jimin?" she asks, maybe a bit more flirtily than she intended, but damn if this champagne isn't delicious and going right to her head!
"Yes, Skylar, I believe you are not a sasaeng. And I am very, very glad to hear it." he replies in a quiet but serious tone, surprising her.
"Oh?? And why is that?"
Jimin looks right into her eyes and says, "I am glad you are not a sasaeng, Skylar, because I would like you to stay with me."
