When Gyuvin stepped foot into the apartment, he fell to the floor. He cried even harder that night. That cat was too much like Ricky, to the point where it hurt.

He was woken up by the blinding lights and the back pain from sleeping on the floor.

It was almost time to visit Ricky anyway, so he got up and got ready. Gyuvin sometimes felt like he was stuck in a time loop doing the same thing day after day; he just didn't have any motivation to do anything if Ricky wasn't there with him.

Gyuvin put on a pair of jeans and a grey hoodie and made his way out the door. He felt the cold, crisp air as he stepped outside and called Hanbin.

"Gyuvin? What's up?"

"Hey hanbin...it's just been awhile, I guess."

Gyuvin heard another voice in the background through the phone and assumed it was Hao.

"Has it? Oh, it has! God, sorry Gyuvin! Work has been so busy lately that I've barely had time to visit you. Have you been taking care of yourself?"

Gyuvin started to walk to the hospital, and even though it was a bit far, his long legs made it easier. He didn't want to end up in a car accident.

"Yes, hyung i've been doing alright, and don't worry about it I just missed you guys."

"I miss you too!"

Gyuvin chuckled. "Hao hyung?"

"Sorry about that Gyuvin, your on speaker phone, and me and Hao are eating breakfast."

"Don't worry about it, I miss all of you guys. I'll stop by your dance class soon. What's for breakfast?"

"Fried rice! Honestly, we just put leftovers in a pan, but it doesn't taste that bad. Have you eaten yet?"

"No, I'm on my way to see Ricky, and I thought I'd talk to you on my way there."

Gyuvin heard Zhanghao's voice again. "Gyuvin, please eat! I'll stop by the hospital later and drop food off for you, no expectations. Please gyuvin we don't want to find you on the floor again."

Gyuvin remembers that too. Gyuvin was pretty messed up after what happened, which made his friends extremely worried.

"I'm eating well guys, I swear! I'm just too lazy to go grocery shopping, and I hate cooking! I'll-"

Gyuvin stopped mid-sentence. He saw the cat from yesterday night ahead of him.

"Gyuvin?"

"I'll talk to you later, bye."

The cat seemed to notice Gyuvin's presence and even recognize the boy as it started to get closer. And although Gyuvin knew he shouldn't hug a stray cat, he couldn't help it.

All he needed was a hug, and right now this cat was the closest thing to Ricky. Gyuvin scooped up the cat and brought it close.

The kitten seemed very comfortable with Gyuvin, not minding being smothered.

The hospital didn't have a pet policy, so Gyuvin thought of bringing the cat in with him. He didn't have a collar or a tag, so Gyuvin assumed he wouldn't be kidnapping him.
