Hyunjin couldn't believe that Seungmin finally was his. He'd loved him for so long, now he needed to figure out what it was like to be in a relationship together; they worked together after all.
On the way to rehearsals, they sat in the back of the van next to each other, holding hands. Seungmin's head was resting on Hyunjin's shoulder. He felt at ease. There were butterflies in his stomach, but there was no nervousness, no awkwardness, no fear, just love. Seungmin kissed Hyunjin on the cheek, causing the other to giggle and snort. Seungmin softly whispered, starting with a high pitched voice, "ah, cute!" I love your laugh! He pinched Hyunjin's cheek.
When they arrived at the company dance practice room, everyone's group chat chimed and they looked at their phone.
It was a meme Felix sent of a puppy laying his head on a ferret, with the caption, in yellow background and white letters, reading "so cute!"

The whole group erupted in a symphony of 'oohs' and 'ahhs', causing the couple to blush and smile.
"Thank you for looking at us favorably!" Hyunjin said, giggling and quickly bowing in all four cardinal directions, hair flying.
"We love you, and want you to be happy. The good thing is we've made it normal for us to be loving and flirty towards each other, so nobody will suspect a thing if you're affectionate in public, but also remember no kissing on the lips."
Seungmin responded with a nasal voice "Thank you Bang Chan, best leader!"
Hyunjin slapped his arm "Ya, be nice!"
"What? I was being nice! Hyung, thank you for your support and for... you know... not being a dick to me. You're the best, jinjja!"
"Aww, my cute puppy! I love you!" He waddled over to Seungmin with his arms spread open to give him a hug, and Seungmin protested, but allowed himself to get squeezed and shaken up left to right by his leader.
By then, Lee Know was done with everyone. He fake-gagged and yelled "야, 그만해 줘!"(Hey, please stop!) Let's get to practice. Awards don't win themselves, you know! We have to show our best selves for Stay!"
"Okay. Let's go!" Changbin clapped loudly, making Han jump and then whine "Ah, hyung, why so loud?" To which Changbin responded by yelling "Fighting!" in his face, causing Han to run away and hide behind Lee Know.
"Hey, quit playing and get into formations!" Lee Know growled.
"Ye!" Everyone said. When it was time for practice, making Lee Know angry was not the way to go. Chan just laughed at everyone's antics, but specifically enjoyed seeing leader Lee Know come out. He loved his kids.
During practice, every time Seungmin's turn to sing came up, Hyunjin smiled, even though he was supposed to keep a straight, stoic face. Lee Know noticed and let it go the first two times, but they were about to record the performance practice video, so everything needed to act exactly as planned for the comeback stage.
