7. COVER

Hyunjin back-hugged his now boyfriend, showering him with kisses on his right cheek, both giggling in the process. They waddled together to the bathroom and once they were inside, both felt a little shy now, and did not look at each other as they soaped up, but both had a huge smile; their hearts bursting out of their chest.

Only the sizzling and trickling sounds of the water could be heard for a while until they moved to the bathtub.

Seungmin sat in front of Hyunjin, who wrapped his arms around Seungmin's waist.

They sat there in silence for a bit longer until Seungmin broke the silence.

"Hyunjin?"

"Yeah, Minnie?"

"This is nice." He leaned his head back onto Hyunjin's shoulder.

Hyunjin hummed, "Hmmm? What is?"

Seungmin faced him, with a little blush on his cheeks. Just spending time with you. Knowing we mean more to each other than being just friends. I don't know what took me so long to realize how much I loved you, but you make my heart swell twice its size!"

Hyunjin gazed at Seungmin, who was looking at him with hearts in his eyes, and caressed his face. "You got here at just the right time, and I couldn't be happier."

They kissed each other softly, water still trickling from their hair. "You know, you look so beautiful to me right now. I know I say in interviews that there's not a single moment you look cute to me, but that's not true, Minnie. You're absolutely stunning. Your smile alone can heal people!"

"I don't even need to say how gorgeous you are. The whole world knows you're beautiful!"

"But none of that matters to me. I like hearing it from your lips. I only want to be beautiful in your eyes."

Seungmin did not cry often, but the whole day had been an overwhelming festival of new emotions. He couldn't help but allow tears to flow freely. Hyunjin hugged him, drained the water, and began drying him off. Seungmin reciprocated the action, and they changed into their bedclothes.

They got into bed, sliding under the covers, and Hyunjin rested his head on Seungmin's chest, who in turn, started playing with his hair and occasionally kissed his forehead.

"I get to wake up next to you tomorrow morning as your love, your boyfriend. All the Versace and magazine covers in the world could never compare to waking up next to the man I love.

"Thank you, Kim Seungmin. You have made me a more decent human being. You have helped complete me, and now, you are a balm to my heart, mind, body, and soul. I will forever be grateful to you."

"We're so corny!" Seungmin laughed. "I love it!"

"Words matter, but I also plan on showing you how I feel with my actions. I want you to feel loved every day."

"You've been doing that for years now, being my cover. I was just too dumb to realize it, so now I need to make up for lost time. You reign supreme in my heart, and you shall know that daily. I will cover you now."

Their lips were inching closer to each other when both men's phones went off.

It was the group chat. Lee Know had a warning.

"Yah!! Seungjin! We have a schedule tomorrow, go to sleep!"

"Hyung, how did you know we were awake?" Seungmin couldn't believe it.

"I always know! He sent a voice note. "Jal jaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" (good night**)

The couple looked at each other and laughed. "I guess we need to sleep. Good night, my love!"

"Good night, Minnie, man of my dreams!"

They cuddled up with each other and fell asleep.

The next morning, Hyunjin woke up to Seungmin staring at him.

"Ya, stop staring. I have bedhead!" He protested, covering himself with the blanket.

Seungmin uncovered him. "You're breathtakingly beautiful when you sleep, you know that? Ethereal! How are you even real?"

Hyunjin blushed, and Seungmin tickled him. They laughed uncontrollably until their alarms went off announcing they needed to be ready in ten minutes.

They both rushed to get dressed and ran out the door.
