Megumi was doing a bit of trianing on the common grounds alone. Well to him, it was training but to anyone walking by it was more like self torture and him just over working his very obviously past limit body, he was bleeding from every crevasse seen by the eye. Megumi didnt stop tho despite his body screaming and burning he refused to give in he needed to be stronger to protect everyone beacause to him he was weak he couldn't save yuji that day and he refused to let anything like that happen agian. Megumi was in his own world his eyes were dark his face showed no emotion as he continued his almost robotic like movements.

This kept up for what felt like mere minutes to megumi but was 5 to 6 unprovoked hours. The others tried to stop him, but stepping to close resulted in full force attacks, which were too dangerous to approach and probably would kill them. Finally, after hours of Megumi torturing himself in this hollow state, he was stopped. Gojo and geto were returning to the school when they overheard a few students talking about Megumis deranged state on the common grounds and how they couldn't train due to it. Gojo ofcourse worried rushed to the grounds, and saw this state for himself. With his infinity, he approached Megumi easily, but talking to him seemed ineffective since the younger seemed dazed and just kept swinging at this new force field in his path."MEGUMI WAKE UP!" Gojo yelled, but he couldn't touch Megumi at risk of being hit. Megumi didn't react he just continued, and gojo began to fear for the younger state as he could see him getting worse every second. Geto didn't step on the common grounds he stood close by watching the site thinking of what could have put the teen in such a state. He remembered when he himself was like that a hollow robotic like mess just aimlessly swing and overworking his body till he would pass out. " Megumi.. you won't get stronger. " Geto started gojo and looked at him, confused."You won't be strong enough to save yuji or anyone ever!" Geto yelled, ignoring the now sorta upset face expression gojo was giving him"suguru wh-" gojo started till he heard a hoarse vocie speak."t..then..what wil.." Megumi muttered and coughed up blood. Geto walked onto the grounds towards Megumi, who was slightly shaking and looking down."To get stronger doesn't just rely on strength. Physical and metal strength need to be balanced. If anything, you need to be way more mentally stronger." Geto said, placing his hand on megumis shoulder and pulling him in a loose hug, allowing the younger to use him as a brace."trianing is good, but what you're doing isn't training. You're killing yourself and your shikigami, too. Did you notcie how uncompleted demon dog looked?".geto asked megumi paused but nodded. " yuji is fine he alive and well, he just won't be with us for a while, so dont think about him or anyone else. Be more selfish." Geto said, and with that, he felt Megumi go limp in his arms."You should get him to shoko satoru." Suguru said, placing Megumi in gojos' arms."we should really get married." Gojo said

Megumi awoke to talking. He turned to his side on the cold metal table and made eye contact with gojo unholy blue eyes. Megumi jumped and moved backwards, falling off the table. He let out a pained groan as he rubbed his lower back."Are you okay?" Shoko asked, looking down at him."y.. yeah.." Megumi muttered, but his vocie was hoarse and Almont incoherent. Megumi let out a pained dry cough. Gojo walked over, handing him a water bottle witch megumi then instantly drank. Gojo extended his hand, which megumi took in helping to stand up. "Fushiguro". Shoko spoke softly. The teen looked at her."You should hold off on using your cursed technique for a few days okay". She said megumi paused."wh..why?" He questioned his voice, still horse and quiet."beacause you overworked your body, it needs to heal, as well as your voice, so hold off on using that too." Shoko said, pulling a cigarette out. Megumi nodded tho he looked defeated."Say megumiii wanna go get something to eat?" Gojo said Megumi glanced at him. He thought for a moment but nodded. Gojo gave him a bright smile and slipped his blindfold on."we'll bring you back something shoko dont worry." Gojo announced as the two of them left.

_____________bit of a time skip, but 2 days after the junpei incident

Yuji had been away from everyone for about a month now, and he had to admit he missed everyone, especially megumi. He was bored being the only kid, but nanami was kind and helped yuji learn a lot and improve his combat skills. He learned a few new food recipes too and learned a bit about nanamis's past, too. Nanami and yuji were walking to a bakery nanami visted often they hand nothing to do and nanami wanted yuji to realx as much as possible beacuse the last month hand been really stressful on him. Entering the cafe, the smells of all sorts of sweets and savory food hit there nose the bakery was very nicely designed with a few tables and flower wallpaper. "Hello, mr.nanami, i see you're not alone today." The lady behind the glass said she smiled at yuji, who smiled back, her eyes visible softened looking at him."He's such a cute young man." She said "anyways what would you two like?" She spoke again, and yuji looked at the assortment of pastries. "Can i get that one?" Yuji said, pointing to a strawberry cake and tugging on nanamis jacket."Can i get a slice of the strawberry cake and just my usual bread?" Nanami said the lady nodded, giving nanami a price and grabbing their items. After getting there things the two left the shop. Yuji was holding his bag and telling nanami about a werid curse he had seen when he was younger when his phone rang."Hello!". Yuji answered happily."You sound lively dear, are you okay?". Geto asked the sound of water running played in his background."Yeah, im okay! I do miss everyone, tho." Yuji said geto hummed. "Well, i planned on coming to get you tomorrow. There are some things happening, and you're needed for them." Geto said the sound of shuffling being heard then a creak of a bed."Really? What is it?".yuji asked, grabbing nanamis' hand so he could keep up with his fast-paced walking while also being distracted by the phone."I'll tell you about it tomorrow, so make sure you have all your things okay." Geto said yuji hummed."Kay!".
