Wooyoung didn't wait for an answer. Instead, he quickly left to find a bathroom to change in. He would just feel even more embarrassed doing it in front of San.

"Oh, so little boy can actually walk around alone. Doesn't San have to look out for you?"

The sudden voice startled Wooyoung so much that he let out a short scream. Turning around, he found Jongho leaning against the wall behind him. Arms crossed and a devilish grin on his face.

Putting a hand on his chest, Wooyoung tried to calm down his rapid heartbeat. Didn't San say his brothers would like him? For now, it definitely didn't look like it.

"What do you mean by that?", he asked with a shaky voice.

Jongho's grin only spread wider. "You know, it can be dangerous for pretty innocent boys like you to wander around a house full of devils..."

All of a sudden, Wooyoung's fear was gone. "Why are y'all always calling yourself devils? Is this some weird kink you have?", he giggled.

"Why the fuck are you laughing, you're supposed to piss yourself in fear", the other said, confusion written all over his face.

"I'm sorry, but I can't take you seriously when you keep talking about the devil or satan or however you want to call it. San also always does it, but I kind of grew used to it. However, you doing it too.. is weird", Wooyoung stated, trying to put all this information together, but it didn't work.

"Wooyoung, what's taking you so long? Oh-" Out of nowhere, San appeared behind them. "Jongho, what are you doing? Haven't I told you to stop scaring my friends away?"

"Actually, you have never told me anything like this, cause you never had friends. Also, bold of you to assume I'd actually listen to you? It doesn't matter though, cause your friend is not behaving normally", Jongho said.

"Excuse me, you're the one not behaving normally!", Wooyoung huffed, taking a step back from the wall and closer to San.

"San, he laughed at me. Tell him, that's not okay", the other replied angrily. All that was missing was for him stomping his foot.

"What are you? Twelve?", San chuckled deeply. "Wooyoung, come on, I'm gonna show you the bathroom where you can change and get ready. It's late."

"Just so you know. I neither like you nor your little friend. Goodbye", with forceful angry steps Jongho walked away and left the two others alone.

Wooyoung hurried to take the hand, San was holding out for him and followed him to the bathroom.

"I'm sorry about my brother. He can be really nice, but it seems like you've hit a nerve in him. By the way, why did you laugh at him?", San asked, looking down at the younger who was still holding his hand.

"I didn't mean to, I swear! But he tried to threaten me by saying it's dangerous for me to walk around the house alone because it is full of devils. I must admit, he scared me in the beginning, but the devil stuff really took me out, like, doesn't he know that these creatures don't exist?"

San only raised a brow at him, a little smile tucking at his lips.

If only you knew, Jung Wooyoung, if only you would believe...

"Well, here we are", the man said, completely changing the topic and opening the door to his bathroom. "You can take a shower as well if you feel like it, fresh towels are in the drawer next to the sink. If you need help with anything, just shout for me."

"Thank you, San", Wooyoung smiled.

"I'll wait for you in my room", the older said and closed the door.

I AM IN FACT ALIVE.

I'm so so sorry for not updating in literal MONTHS, but I had a writers blockade. Several times I've tried to continue this story, but every time I ended up just staring at the screen and my head was empty, like I've never even heard of words before.

A little life update:

I got a new job (months ago🥹) that I started in August and I'm very happy there. I also did a lot of dance projects and went to a big ass contest last weekend.

Lots of boy problems are going on though...

Back to Ateez though: ANOTHER WORLD TOUR NEXT YEAR?!?!? Are they kidding me? I don't even want to imagine the fight for tickets, I am so fucking scared.

Anyway, I still believe in Woosan supremacy. Lately they've been behaving like husbands and I'm totally here for it.
