Liam's your average golden child. He gets good grades, is in a few sports, has a lot of friends, not to mention a loving girl friend.

Zayn's anything other then a good kid, let alone average. He skips school often, spends most of his time smoking, has slept with nearly every girl he's met, and barley graduated by the skin of his teeth. A bad boy.

Polar opposites.

And so when the two get paired up to be roommates, you can imagine their distaste.

But the mysterious bad boy always leaves at night and comes home early in the morning, and all Liam wants to know is why.

➳ LIAMS POV ➳

3 days.

Just 3 days after graduation, my parents told me.

They said we were moving.

My dad's job was transferring him to another town and it's too far to drive there every day. We were moving to Cheshire.

At that point I was more angry than sad, and I started yelling and going off.

But then my parents told me to quit whinning, because I was going off to college anyway, and that they'd were actually close enough that I didn't have to pay for a dorm because I could just live at home.

This, coming from my parents, was absurd.

"Bullocks. You can afford to pay for my dorm. Hell, we could buy a house for me out there if we wanted." I accused.

"Liam; moving costs a lot. You're living at home. That's final," my dad said, returning to packing up his belongings from his study.

"Dad, you were a frat boy, so was my uncle. And everyone else in this family. Harry's a frat boy. It's like-- Tradition!?" I cried out.

His head snapped up, mulling over what I'd said.

"No, absolutely not. When your Dad was in college, they didn't have this hazing nonsense going on like they do now." My mom said.

"Uh, actually Liam would-- I mean, if Liam were to live at a frat house, he wouldn't have to worry about hazing," my Dad said, going back to packing.

"And why is that?" My mother asked.

"Well, the one him and Harry were originally going to be at is the one me and Harry's dad stayed at, and so we sponsor it through my company after I put in a good word or two. Plus look at 'im," my dad said, gesturing towards me. "Only a fool would mess with him."

"Liam, please go to your room and keep packing, we'll think about it." My mom said with a sigh.

And so I walked out of my dad's office with a grin on my face and did a fist pump in the air.

Never did I expect their decision to be to put me in an actual dorm with a random boy until I could prove that I was okay to live in a frat house.
