Your eyes fluttered open, you yawned looking at the clock "7:48..." Your eyes opened wide "7:48?!? Oh god I'm gonna be late" you stood up running to the bathroom brushing your teeth and your hair. Getting changed you put on a black and purple T-shirt and shorts and put a small cake in a box and ran to your car driving to the park you made your way to the cherry tree and sat down with the box in your hands "7:59..holy shit just in time" you smiled taking a deep sigh of relief, a limo drove by but you dismissed it thinking some new celebrity just taking a drive. You layed your head on the tree as the time turned to 8:00, "Mrs Y/L/N" the familiar voice called you stood up brushing some dirt off your shorts "Hello Ryuzaki" you smiled holding the box. He gave you a small smile "I see that you have done what I told you to do" you nodded handing him the box, a old man walked out and turned to Ryuzaki, "please park near the sweet shop, me and Y/N will be going on a walk after this, thank you Watari" Watari nodded getting back into the limo. You looked to Ryuzaki and he opened the box splitting the cake in two "I normally don't share my sweets but..since we are talking about a job offee I guess I can" you smiled "thank you" he ate his half quickly letting you eat yours "so about the job we are a special team that hunts kira but I need to ask you something" you nodded "what is that" he ate a strawberry from the cake you bought "do you know the detective L" you smiled "yes I do he is practically my hero, risking his life to take down kira" he nodded "yes I wanted you to know...that I am L" your eyes widened "w-wait...that means you..your asking me if I want to work to catch kira with the famous detective L!" He nodded "yes but please don't yell I don't wish to attract attention" you blush softly "oh sorry but I would love to work with you guys" he smiled and stuffed his hands in his pockets "now that that's settled, do you want to go to the bakery, I'm craving strawberry shortcake" you rolled your eyes a bit "sure but don't you eat the like everyday" he nodded "if you are going to work with me I hope you know that I am addicted to sweets and sugar of all kinds" you smiled "well good because I love sweets to and I will bring a lot to work" you two walked for a few hours talking about sweets and the police. "Tomorrow we will have to take a tour of the building, I will probably assign Mastuda to do that" you smiled "that's nice!" He nodded " do you want to pick up some sugar cubes at the bakery" you smiled "yeah that would be cool" Ryuzaki or as you now discovered as L walked you to the bakery opening the door he walked in and you followed Y/F/N was at the counter and waved at you "Hello Y/N who is your friend!" You smiled seeing your friend again "he was the guy I told you about" she smiled "oooh you mean the guy you said was kinda cute the way he stood you blushed 'she is lying I never said that!' "I n-never said that!" She smirked "I know just wanted to tease you" L spoke "can we get two bags of sugar cubes" she nodded handing you the bag, you paid and handed him his bag. You noticed the limo and how he was walking toward it "do you want a ride home" you nodded "yes please, thank you" he let you in the back seat and he sat a seat away from you. You were playing with your fingers twidling her thumbs, the limo approached your house and you stepped out and smiled thanking him. You opened your door locking it and you layed down on the couch popping a few sugar cubes in your mouth, you yawned falling asleep slowly.
