"I can't breathe... Help me breathe!" I pleaded desperately, falling to my knees beside a tree on the desolate road. My car was stalled in the middle, black SUVs forming a formidable line behind it.

My security guards stood by, watching my distress, their eyes filled with concern. Tears streamed down my face, and I struggled to regain control over my emotions.

"Ruhaan, I need help!" Meera's voice echoed in my head. The mere thought of something happening to Meera and Kushaal sent shivers down my spine. It was a feeling I hadn't experienced in a long time, not since I was trapped in that grim place.

I pounded my chest, trying to regain my composure and breathe normally. Rudra was calling me, probably with some news. I answered the call, my heart pounding with anxiety.

"Go on," I said, hoping for a positive update. I'd been scouring Udaipur, checking every warehouse and abandoned building, hoping to find them.

"Bhai-sa, Kushaal is here at the palace," Rudra's voice brought immense relief. He seemed about to say more, but I abruptly ended the call, rushing back to my car. They were back, but something gnawed at my subconscious, leaving me breathless and restless.

I raced to the palace, my heart pounding with anxiety. As I entered, I found Kushaal in Maa's comforting embrace, her hand gently rubbing his back to soothe him.

"Kushaal," I called out as I sprinted towards him, hugging him fiercely, albeit a bit too tightly, causing him to wince. He was okay. My brother was unharmed.

I glanced at his elbow, which was covered by a white cloth – Meera's dupatta. A puzzled frown creased my face as I looked around, searching for Meera.

"Is Meera in our room?" I questioned Maa, my impatience palpable. She regarded me with teary eyes.

"WHERE IS MEERA?" I demanded, the urgency in my voice clear.

"B-Bhai-sa, Bhabhi-ma helped me escape, but she's still there. I don't know how long she'll survive. Please, we need to go," Kushaal said, gripping my shoulder.

'I don't know how long she'll survive,' his words echoed in my mind, causing my chest to constrict with worry.

"Where is she?" I questioned, my voice laced with tension.
