Who knew how boring a boring school would be after finding that kind of shit out?

You had gone on the bus, gone to first period, gone to second period. Yet, everything felt.. dead again. Maybe it was the adrenaline from last night wearing off, or maybe it was the fact the one person who finally cared about you.. you could only see sometimes.

Maybe it was selfish too, he did have a job after all, however weird it was to have someone like him as a soulmate, it was who you were destined to be with. So.. that meant something, right?

Walking into your 3rd period, you stared at the random seat locations. Of course, Mrs.. whatever her name.. would change seats in April. You just ignored the people watching you sit down, as if the seat would change your life.

You began unpacking your bag and taking out your homework, rolling your eyes at the loud person next to you.

"So- you know I don't have a good grade right now, but after I turn in this extra credit?! I'm gonna be too of the class, I swear, Nya!"

Turning to the other person, you glared at them. "Could you- I dunno.. not scream at 9 in the morning?"

The teen had ashy tan hair, and chocolate brown eyes. He watched your glare, biting on his lip. "Sorry..."

"Hey- it's not Jay's fault it's impossible for you to wake up early. Drink some coffee, nobody wants to listen to your attitude." The raven haired girl across from him groaned, rolling her eyes. "Not everything is about you. I-.. Oh... It's you.."

Biting back an insult, you sat back into your chair nodding. "Yep. It's me. A random person who has been in your class for a whole semester already..."

Both of them quickly became hush-hush, glancing at you as they whispered. What was their problem? Couldn't they just mind their own goddamn business?

Tapping your pencil against the desk, you yawned, the teacher wandering around and checking homework. She stopped by your desk, her finger pressing on the paper. "I've told you this whole year, it's April, Y/n. You can't keep drawing on the side of your papers. It's distracting from your essay and informal."

"Right." You sighed, tilting your head down. You were so fucking done with school, how much longer? Continuing to tap your pencil, you zoned out.

Until somebody grabbed your pencil. The tan haired kid (though he was probably a senior) held it in his hand. "Could you- stop hitting your pencil against the desk? It's really annoying."

"Could you not take my stuff? You could've just asked. Like how I asked you to stop yelling?" You scrunched your nose, taking your pencil back.

Nya, the black haired girl, glared at you. "Don't talk to him like that. You have no right to-"

You yawned, shutting her up. "Dude, I'm all for female empowerment, but fight your own battles. You can't have your girlfriend arguing with people for you."

Both of their faces heated up, their eyes darting from you to each other. "We're not-" they both started saying at the same time.

"Oh, you're not? Could've had me fooled." You remarked, head down to the paper of vocab you just received. "You genuinely would be kinda cute together."

Burrying your face in your work, you blocked out their voices trying to figure out what to even say in response. You weren't lying, they did seem made for each other.. maybe it was the barely noticeable splash of teal shimmer in both their hairs. But it also gave you an excuse to stop talking.

You just had to make it through the rest of the day, and then you'd see Green again. Your heart almost fluttered at the thought.
