Y/n had always been a very good addition to the Avengers, displaying unwavering enthusiasm and a super fierce determination that well exceeded her age. When she was just 18, she had very quickly become a very important part of the team, proving her worth on countless missions. However, sometimes her youthful energy and enthusiasm led to very impulsive decisions, which lead to more tiredness. This had not gone unnoticed by Natasha and Wanda
A very grueling and dangerous mission had taken its toll on the entire team. The Avengers had been tasked with stopping a dangerous weapons smuggling ring operating out of a remote jungle. It had been a challenging operation, the team was beaten up and tired. The avengers couldn't wait to just lay down in their beds
As the team regrouped and prepared to depart, Natasha and Wanda noticed the exhaustion in y/n's eyes. Her determination was inspiring and a very good asset voor te team, but it was clear that she was pushing herself to the brink.
"Y/n, sweetie" Natasha said, her voice gentle but firm, "you've done very well, but we're all tired. We need to rest and recuperate. No more new, enthousiastic decisions, okay? You need to rest now"
Y/n nodded, a sense of weariness finally catching up to her. "I understand, Tasha. I'll be careful."
The team made their way back to their headquarters, their bodies aching from the hard and long mission. It was late into the night when they finally returned, and the fatigue was evident on everyone's faces.
Y/n, however, seemed to be on the verge of collapsing. She staggered to her room, her movements sluggish, and promptly collapsed onto her bed, still wearing her battle-worn uniform and instantly falling asleep
As Natasha and Wanda reviewed the mission's debriefing, they couldn't shake their concern for their youngest favorite recruit. It was clear that y/ had overexerted herself, and her exhaustion was bordering on dangerous. They exchanged worried glances, both knowing that something needed to be done.
Wanda finally spoke up, her voice laced with concern. "Nat, we can't let y/n keep pushing herself like this. She needs rest, and she's not going to get it if she's left to her own devices. I'm worried about her"
Natasha sighed, her own worry for Y/n evident. "You're right, Wands. I'm going to check on her, I hope she's finally asleep"
Wanda nodded and the two of them made their way to y/n's room. They found her fast asleep, still in her uniform, with the dim light casting a soft glow across the room. Natasha softly smiled glad that she was finally resting. Nat and wands slowly approached y/n's bedside and gently brushed a fallen strand of hair behind y/n's ear.
"y/n, baby" Natasha whispered, her voice filled with concern, "wake up, dear."
Julie stirred, her eyelids fluttering open as she met Natasha's gaze. "Tasha? Wanda? What's going on?"
Wanda took a seat on the edge of Julie's bed, her eyes filled with worry. "Y/n, I'm glad you are finally resting, but how about we change you in something comfortable? you need to rest properly. You're pushing yourself too hard, and it's not good for you."
Y/n attempted to sit up, but her exhaustion weighed her down. She slumped back onto her pillows, her voice tired and mumbled. "I just wanted to prove myself, to be a good member of the team. I just want to stay here and make you guys proud."
Natasha softly cradled y/n's cheek. "You are a very important member of the team, honey. But you also have to take care of yourself. I can't stand to see you worn down like this, I wan't you to be healthy, you are just a kid, baby."
Y/n nodded, her voice filled with regret and her eyes downwards. "I understand Tasha, I'm sorry."
Wanda offered a reassuring smile. "We're not upset, sweets. We care so much about you, and we want to see you at your best. Now, let us help you get some proper rest hun."
With gentle hands, Natasha and Wanda helped Julie to out of her uniform. She was too tired to protest, and she appreciated their care. Wanda grabbed some shorts and a tee from y/n's closet and walked back to Nat and y/n. Natasha gently pulled the shirt over y/n's head and quickly helped y/n into her shorts. Once she was settled back in bed, Natasha pulled the covers over her, tucking her in with a motherly touch.
As y/n closed her eyes, she felt a deep sense of gratitude and warmth. "Thank you, Tasha. You too Wands
Wanda gently brushed a strand of hair from y/n's face. "You're part of this team, y/n. We're here always here to care for you"
Natasha leaned down and placed a soft kiss on y/n's forehead. "Get some rest, babe. We'll be in the living room when you wake up"
As they left y/n's room, the weight of their concern began to ease. The young recruit was finally getting the rest she so desperately needed, and it was a small victory in a line of challenges they faced that day as Avengers.
Over the next few days, y/n slowly regained her strength. Her energy returned, and she felt more like her usual energetic and enthousiastic self. She continued her training with Natasha and Wanda and everything was going great
The incident after the mission had brought Natasha and Wanda even closer to y/n, and they made it a point to check on her regularly, ensuring she was taking care of herself. Y/n, in turn, sought more comfort from Nat and Wanda and made sure that she was well rested, not to worry her avenger moms
On one evening, all the Avengers gathered for their weekly movie night, y/n sat between Natasha and Wanda. The team had grown even closer, and their movie nights were a very cherished time for bonding and relaxation.
As the movie began to play on the screen, not even 5 minutes later y/n's eyes began to droop, her exhaustion from the previous mission and all the training still lingering. She tried to keep herself awake, but her eyelids grew heavy, and her head gently lolled on Natasha's shoulder.
Wanda noticed y/n's state and shared a knowing look with Natasha. The two women exchanged a silent understanding, and with utmost care, Natasha shifted y/n's head onto her lap.
She stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open, and she found herself looking up at Natasha, who offered a gentle and loving smile. "It's okay, babe. Rest. We've got you, hun."
Y/n nodded, her eyes growing heavy, and she slipped into a peaceful slumber, and snuggled even more into Natasha her teammates watching over her as the movie continued to play.
As the credits rolled and the rest of the team began to disperse for the night, Natasha gently woke y/n from her sleep. "Time for bed, baby."
Y/n blinked and sat up, rubbing her eyes. "I'm sorry, Tasha. I didn't mean to fall asleep and keep you here"
Natasha offered a warm smile as she helped Y/n to her feet. "baby we've talked about this. You need the rest, and you've been working hard. We all have to take care of ourselves, and sometimes get a little nap in. It is totally okay, i love snuggling with you"
As they walked to y/n's room, the young recruit turned to Natasha with rosy cheeks from embarrasment and gratitude in her eyes. "Thank you, Tasha"
Natasha placed a reassuring hand on Y/n shoulder. "Always, baby. We're a family, and we have to take care of each other."
Once they reached y/n's room, Natasha tucked her into bed, just as they had done during her earlier recovery. Wanda joined them, standing by the bedside.
Wanda leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on y/n's forehead. "Goodnight, hun. Sweet dreams."
Y/n felt a profound sense of belonging and gratitude as she settled into her bed. "Goodnight Tasha and Wanda, love you"
Natasha and Wanda smiled. "love you too baby" Natasha said while she turned of the lights.
"Sweet dreams hunny" Wanda said and she closed the door of y/n's bedroom behind her
