Valentine's Day. Ah, love was in the air... yeah right.
Lauren Jauregui looked up from the random gossip magazine she was reading, or at least pretended to be. She casually leaned up against the magazine rack behind her, beside the checkout counter number 4.
She peered at the beauty, Camila Cabello.
"Two dollars and seventy four cents," Camila said with her gorgeous smile from behind the counter.
"H-here. Keep t-the change," A teenage boy stuttered and handed Camila a crisp twenty dollar bill.
Camila looked quizzically at him before she handed the boy the bag of chips that he just purchased. "Um, thank you for such the big tip. Would you also like to donate to the 'Feed the Needy Organization?" She asked and gestured over to the bin where donated food items should be placed.
The boy nodded with a goofy smile on his face and dropped the bag of chips that the only item that he bought, in the bin. "Bye, Camilla."
Camila rolled her eyes at the boy for mispronouncing her name when he looked away. "Come again!" she waved.
The boy was so hypnotized that he walked into the glass door on his way out and Camila laughed silently.
Lauren beamed at her from afar. She was the most beautiful girl that Lauren had ever seen. Her dark hair, flowed below her shoulders. Her petite and fit body was perfect. Her sweet lips were always layered with a thin coat of raspberry lip gloss. Her captivating big brown eyes. Her pointy nose.
They went to the same high school. They occasionally exchanged conversations and notes, but they were simply just peers. Camila lived with her Aunt Ariana and her Uncle Justin. Ariana was a homemaker and Justin was a local police officer.
Just recently, Camila got a job at the supermarket called Sweetie's. Coincidentally, just recently, the business started booming. Teenage girls and boys flooded the store and insisted on going to only one checkout counters; Camila's. They would only buy one or two items. While Camila was checking out the items, they were checking out Camila. Of course, no one dared to make a move on her since her Uncle was a cop.
"Yo, bitch," Cara Delevinge, Lauren's cousin came bouncing up to Lauren, arms full of liters of soda and chips. "I got the things. Let's go."
Lauren snapped out of her daydreams. "Uh, sure."
"Ah, you were looking at Camila," Cara smirked knowingly.
"Shut up!" Lauren said, blushing before shoving Cara playfully.
Since Camila was the only worker at the cashiers, Lauren and Cara followed in line. Unfortunately, there was another two guys in front of them. Then, it was their turn.
"Sup, Cabello," Cara said coolly.
