"Time is really a fickle thing..." Said Mashiro out of nowhere, while staring the deep blue sky above her head.

Watching the clouds as she laid lazily on the grass when she thought of what had happened in one year ago.

Today's date is July the first. The weather was expectant sunny and breezy for the hot summer month.

After the day of the musical she and the others had watched, her friends from her original world sent several messages on the Arc-phone that she couldn't keep up with, but understood nonetheless they have been worried over her wellbeing when she made the decision to stay here because of a god's whim. But most of the messages came from Aoi, the girl had been worried the most since Mashiro HAD planned to stay over her place for the time being, which the white-haired girl apologized to her.

Honestly, the youth in her knew that her friends kept asking her, if she had the phone number of that 'Arceus' god. Of course, it's stored on her contact file, but Mashiro will not tell them as she knew particular people would spam Arceus like there's no tomorrow.

"Like Shinonome Miu for example. She would spam Arceus with 'I, the queen, did not agree to use my subject to clean up your creation's mistakes. As a god like you, isn't it quite shameful to use such a method or is your ethic different from ours to answer our demands?' or something she would do." Mashiro giggled when she imagined that Miu had the beef against Arceus and would openly fight him alongside with Syakomon who straight shot them in their face with ink.

Despite spending one year here, she recently discovered that the time in this world is different from her own. As one year here equals 28 days there on Earth.

She missed them, honestly. They are the only ones she could interact openly with while she's still in this world.

It felt like she didn't belong here.

Well yes, the people are polite and friendly here though, but it was only a facade she could tell.

There's only pity in their eyes, as the folks here thought she doesn't have a family and let her help them with their agriculture and taking care of the Mareeps. Mashiro managed to get some money from the work for the time being since a child working on an adult's work it's highly illegal.

It would matter of time when someone dialled the child protective services out of nowhere and dragged her in some foster care system.

'By this world law it stands, 'a child of any age can be a trainer and start a journey with their pokemon.' and in other pages you must not allow a child to work... What a bunch of hypocrites. Wild life is more dangerous than you think and letting a child with no idea how to survive. The same applies to the cities as well, we know what it lurks in the darkest corners.' Mashiro sighed with a sudden headache.

Suddenly, something soft plopped down on her face. The texture of the fur was soft like a cat's belly.

For cat persons, it would be heaven for them.

Although in Mashiro's case it did not. The heat on her face was so unbearable that she grabbed the droppy eyed fox with her hand to get off from her face.

"Inari... Did Kudamon send you?" She asked the spiteful fox Pokemon cheekily.

Inari only licked Mashiro's cheek as respond.

"Hey! That tickles!" The girl laughed and immediately got off of the grass.

Inari the Zorua and Sui the Oshawott were the first introduction of the Pokemon that Mashiro, Kudamon and Gammamon had encountered, ever since they arrived.

They never knew about their individual species, until they found an old notebook as the human decided to explore the whole house from nook and cranny. The notebook was found in a hidden room that they recently discovered.
