Dragging my feet along the cold tiles i trodded to the bathroom sighing when the mirror came in view and i saw myself. Last night i ended things with pablo because, in all actuality he isn't the person i want.
And the way he looks at lee i'm not the person he wants either , the tension could be cut with a knife so i'm glad he finally asked her out.
I'm just the only one being scared and not having enough courage.
I washed my face , then i took a shower. Getting out of the bathroom i put a jumpsuit on slicking back my hair in a bun. I did my edges and gave myself a once-over as i got ready to tackle todays chores.
Its a must that i look and feel presentable in order to carry out activities of daily living correctly.
Hearing my phone ring i picked it up looking at the caller ID.

My heart rate picked up as my hands hovered over the answer button. Sucking up my pride i answered the phone a bit nervous to say the least.
"Tae, im coming to get you." he said the moment i answered.
Coming to get who? Mi will play dead inna the house.
"I'm busy right now eli, i can't come with you wherever you wanna take me right now." i answered.
"I'm outside your house right now, just come in the car with me for atleast 15 minutes ma" he retorted sounding very frustrated.
"Okay" i said softly , hanging up the phone. I put my slides on as i took my key up from the kitchen island and my lipgloss whilst exiting the house.
Locking my door , i turned around seeing him parked outside my gate as i took slow steps towards his car.
Suddenly the settings app interesting.
Hearing a "click" signaling that he opened the door i got in the AC greeting me and the smell of marijuana.
Don't you just love when a man smells like weed and money.
"Hey ma" he said reaching from his seat to hug me.
I stiffened at the contact and i know he must be finding it weird because we are mutual friends and hugging isn't something that's new or foreign to us so me tensing up is a dead giveaway.
"Yah tense up suh?" he asked with his eyebrow quirked up.
"Nothing!" i said all too quickly as my subconscious face-palmed herself.
Well this is embarrassing.

"Mi can sense when something up stillz , and yah be weird suh jus tell mi." he said gazing into my eyes.
"Ireallylikeyoualotbutidontwannaruinthefriendship" i said out in one breath.
"No. That's not how you speak tae, say it again and say it slower" he said firmly.
