PROM PT 1
Melissa had been sobbing, I'm sure the photos would look terrible because she probably can't even see what she's taking pictures of. Meeks hands were around my waist and his head was hovering just above my shoulder, Scott had been in such a mood. I just ignore it, this is the first dance I've ever gone to and it's not going to be ruined but some wolfy teen drama.
"Stiles is outside." He says, his eyes glued to the phone.
"I just- come hug me." Melissa sniffles as she pulls me into a hug.
"You look gorgeous." She taps my chin and then steps away.
"Go guys go before I force you to stay." She waves us off.
I turn to look at Meeks and flowers were flashed in my face.
"Where did these come from." I gasp, staring at the pretty daisies.
"I have a vase and everything, Melissa has it." He says handing them to me.
"And I'll set it up, go." Melissa takes them from me.
Scott was already out of the door and I quickly shuffle in my heels out of the front door. Meeks hand stayed in my lower back as I walked, he knows I very much never wear heels and there could be a fall any moment.
"No I don't want to get out." Lydia sneered.
"How do you expect me to get into the car then?" Scott says angrily.
"Ok I'll- come onto this side." Stiles takes off his seatbelt and opens the door in order to push his seat up for us to sit in the back.
He fumbles with his seat, I don't think I ever saw that seat move from its spot. I honestly don't think it does anymore. I walk around and Stiles is just hitting the seat while pressing down the lever but it wouldn't budge.
"Let me do it." I pull him away and get in front of the side of the seat.
I push the lever down but it seemed stuck, not fully going down. I jiggle it a bit and slam it down, a large click was heard and the seat went loose, I then pull the seat up.
"Ha I got it!" I excitedly cheered.
I turn to Stiles and my smile lessens as I notice his intense gaze.
"You okay?"
"You look-" he stops and his eyes widen, flickering back to Meeks and then to me.
"Good. Very good." He clears his throat.
"The gold is- you know and your hair. Yeah." He trails off awkwardly.
"I'm just gonna get in." I point to the inside of his car.
"Yeah yeah." He nods as I lift up my dress before cramming into the back, Meeks sitting beside me.
I look at Scott who peeked in.
"Sit on his lap I can't fit in there."
"Oh yeah." I stand up the most I could and Meeks slid under me and then pushed me down onto his lap, his right hand still on my thigh.
It was cramped as hell in the Jeep but it would've been the same in my car, actually I have two back doors it would've probably been better but it's too late now.
I had a slit on the side of my thigh, it was a a part of the dress I had to have so that it would be easier to lift when I peed, but this second Chad's hand is slowly inching up my bare thigh.
I look over at Scott and his head was laid back with his eyes closed, I just know he's gonna hate coming tonight.
I turn a little so I can face Chad and wrapped an arm around him.
"Hey." I smile.
"Hey." His dumb smile was the same as mine.
It felt like a kissing moment but do I really want to kiss him with Stiles in the- no okay it's happening.
Chad leaned over a bit and I filled in the distance, I held my breath as his thumb caressed my inner thigh. I pulled away and looked over to the front. Where Lydia and Stiles were sitting in silence. I make eye contact with Stiles through the rear view mirror and we both look away immediately.
The rest of the ride was super silent. I wonder if Stiles knows about Scott kissing Lydia and that's why it's so tense.
"Alright." Stiles clears his throat and I lift my head from the crook of Meek's neck.
"We are here." He announces.
"Great." Lydia's voice was monotone like she didn't want to be here, especially not with Stiles.
"Good." Stiles replied in the same tone. I leaned forwards towards Stiles and her turned to look at me.
"Let.Us.Out." I whisper.
He takes off his seatbelt and pushes the seat up, I pushed Scott and he woke up immediately.
"Homecoming time." He yawned and did a small stretch before grabbing the side of the car and hopping out.
I followed behind, Stiles holding out his hand and I grab it to steady myself and slip out. My heels were already starting to hurt and now I regret not listening to Melissa earlier who was pushing me to bring a change of shoes.
"Thanks." I smile but avoid looking at him.
If I think too much about how he looks in a suit and tie I think I would spiral.
Based on no real evidence just pure vibes I think I would 100% think he looked amazing and I would probably fall in like with him. I can't almost do that again because he wants Lydia, he's always wanted Lydia I'd just be a distraction.
"Fine I'll get out myself." Lydia huffs as she opens the door, gets out, and slams the door.
"Hey! Take it easy my cars sensitive." Stiles pleaded.
Meeks closed the driver door and holds his arm out, I immediately interlock my around his. My daisy corsage feeling itchier and itchier against my skin, but I'll ignore it or when we get inside I'll hide it someone for the rest of the night. Scott walks in first, the music can be heard with the doors closed but the second he opened the double doors to the school gym, music seems to fill the entire atmosphere. Scott holds the door open for Meeks and I and we wait as Stiles tries to hold Lydia's hand but she sways it away and they start to angrily whisper.
"They can let themselves in." Scott lets the door close and we are greeting by two tables at the entrance collecting tickets.
We hand them our tickets, get our hands stamped with a special entry stamp and we get to actually walk into the dance. Everything was beautiful, I had skipped out on the eighth Grade dance which was the only one I had the opportunity to go to before now.
I felt my hand be grabbed and I looked down, interlocking my hand with Chad's.
"Let's go see if the punch is spiked?" He questioned and I nod in response.
I had forgotten we had gotten there with other people. I just followed Chad wherever he went.
I watched him as he used the ladle to pour punch into the two cups. He hands me one and raises the one in his hand.
"True test to whether Beacon high is lit or not."
"Let us see." I tapped my cup to his and then chugged the juice that was in fact just juice.
"Ah lame." He groans.
His eyes venture past me and he cringes, "The lovely couple has been spotted." I turn and see Lydia sitting at the table ignoring Stiles who seemed so very stressed.
"We can go and try to diffuse the situation?" Meeks suggested.
"No im sure." I look again and surely enough he looked exhausted and sat in the seat next to her.
"I'm sure they're fine."
