As the snow fell, all I could think was I wondered how Cyrus was—moving my eyes away from the window to look down at my cup of tea. It's warm. I take a sip of it. Black tea is just how I like it. We are officially a week into winter break. Next week is Christmas and New Year, then back to school. School, I'm not looking forward to that.

I continue looking out the window, watching the snow puffs fall from the sky. It's like a snow globe today. I love it. I like snow but not the cold. I enjoy watching the snowfall. It's so pretty.

"Luna, you okay? You seem down today."

I turn to face Ivy, Jun's niece who works at the coffee. I have not seen her around lately. She must have been busy. "I am okay. I respond. I am just enjoying the quiet snowfall of the day."

She smiled a little. "It is very pretty today."

She moves her eyes from the window back to me. "Are you excited to play here on Christmas Eve? It's going to be so much fun! Uncle June has put up so many Christmas decorations this year. We may have a full house for you guys." she smiled.

I smiled back. "I am excited to play. It will be fun to do a Christmas set." I look around the cafe to see all the decorations. "It does look like Christmas throw-up in here." I chucked

Ivy laughed. "Yeah, June went a little crazy. I could not stop him. Christmas is one of his favorite holidays, after all."

Ivy takes my empty cup from my table. "Who doesn't like Christmas? It's a holiday that lasts for two months."

Ivy laughed. "Facts! Can we play Christmas music after Thanksgiving." she groaned.

"I agree. It is worse when people play it in October. It's a spooky season, not Christmas!" I rolled my eyes.

"Christmas people are a different bread," Ivy added before leaving me alone again at my table.

I hear the door to the cafe chime open, announcing someone had come in. Lost again, looking out the window, I did not even notice a person calling my name.

Realizing this, I turn to see Rain, Alice, and Chase. "You ready to practice for the Christmas show?" Rain beamed.

I nodded and stood up to pick up my guitar case. "Let's do this," I announce.

We walk over to the other room of the cafe to practice. We had most of the setlist done; we just needed to practice. A part of me wants Christmas to be over so I can hide away in my room until school starts again. Then again, if I did that, I would think of Cyrus or text him, but I can't, so doing the Christmas show with Flood Night keeps my mind busy, so be it.

Christmas Eve came in a flash, and it was time for our show. Ivy was right. The coffee was super packeted. Everyone was wearing Christmas sweaters or Christmas colors. Everyone was ready to party. We all, for once, did not look like a rock band.

Rain was wearing red and white striped socks with a skite with lots of puff of green and red with a reindeer shirt on. She also had antlers on her head.

Alice looked like an elf. She had pointy ears on and a cute red and green striped suit on. Her hair was still pink. Rain and Alice did not change their hair at all. Then again, Rain's red hair fits the theme.

Chase wore an ugly sweater that had many lights on it that were flashing. His pants had bells all over them. He also had a Santa hat on.

I wore a platted red and black skite with black and white snow stockings under. I had a snowman green sweater on. It had many cute different snow people on it. Wearing big snowflake earrings are on.
