There are good and bad things for being the new person at school. One good thing was the fresh start. But a bad thing was feeling like everyone was staring at you.

Well, that's how I felt that lunch as I stood in the middle of the cafeteria holding my lunch tray. While I scanned the tables full of students, looking for Kevin, I can feel people's eyes on me. They probably noticed I am the new girl and wonder why I am staring at all of them so intently.

I looked around the room then I heard suddenly, "Luna!" I turn around and see Kevin standing up waving his arms up and down to get my attention. He calls out to me, "Over here!"

I nod my head to him. I headed over to the table.

"Were you looking for a long time for me?" asked Kevin as soon I got to the table.

"Nope, not too long," I respond.

As I set down my tray of food on the table, he questioned, "Did you find the lunchroom ok?"

I look at him as I took my seat. "Man, you're really good at your student office job," I chuckled.

He stares and laughs, "I did say that I was good at my job."

"Also, yes, I found the lunchroom easily enough." I gave him a thumbs up. He returns it and winked.

"I would like to introduce you to some people," Kevin said.

He looks around the room then mumbled under his breath, "I wonder where they are." Suddenly, his eyes widened and he began waving one arm around. "Ah! There they are! Over here guys!"

I look over to see who he called. As I turn, I hear, "Oh, Luna!" Then I feel arms wrap around me until I couldn't see. The person hugging me lets go. Its Anna! She gives me a big smile. I look over Anna to see Rachel and another girl I have never seen before.

"You guys meet already?' asked Kevin.

"Yes!" exclaims Anna with a kind smile. "We meet in Environment Science."

"We also have met." The three of us look over to Rachel. She takes a seat at the table, and continues coolly, "We are table mates in science."

"Wow, you met most of the people I wanted you to meet!" Kevin said scratching his head.

"We only talked a little so far," said Anna pulling up a chair to sit down at the table.

"Guys introduction time?" prodded Kevin with a smirk smile. His smile dropped. No one looked thrilled at the idea. "Come on guys! Please! Let me do introductions for Luna! It's like a TV show where they give you a rundown of each person in the show!" He looked around the table at the three girls and gave them the puppy-dog look. The three of them looked at each other.

Rachel rolled her eyes. "Fine, you can do it. Just make it short."

Kevin starts to smile and is beaming with joy. "Yes!" he cheers then looks at me with so much excitement. "Ok here we go!"

"You are way too excited about this," I chuckled.

He leans in close to me and says in a quiet voice, "They never let me do this for the new students. This means I bet they like you."

"You going to do it or not?" Anna said with a pout on her face.

"I am! Right now!" he said. He clears his throat and continues with a loud, speaker-like voice, "So, sitting to your left is Anna Jones. She is a junior; seventeen-years-old. She likes clothes and fashion. She works on the school fashion magazine. She also loves anything that is cute and girly."
